Chapter 9

When I came to, I was in a strange place. Well, duh, no surprise. I was in rainbow pony-land. But this place looked...different. I looked around. It was...Minecraftia? Equestria? I couldn't tell. It was like a mix of the two. The terrain looked slightly blocky, and slightly cartoonish, all at the same time. It was shiny and blue on one side, but then sorta twisted and morphed into stone brick blocks on the other, like a stronghold. And that's when I saw him.

***Jerome***

No...I-It couldn't be...

***Mitch***

But it was...

***Jason***

He was here...

***Ty***

The myth...

***Ian***

But... It's impossible!

And yet, there he is.

How is this possible?

In all of his white-eyed glory...

...Herobrine.

There he was, in all of his white-eyed glory. But, it was weird. He shimmered, like a mirage. Sometimes I saw him in human form, with his light-blue shirt and jeans, but then he shimmered and became a pony, with pure white eyes and a black coat. It was very disorienting. "Welcome," He said, his voice big and echoey, but somehow sly and scratchy at the same time. "I hope you enjoyed your time in Equestria, Team," The way he said the word 'team' made me shudder. Like he was building us up to break us down. He looked at all of us. "Yes, lovely place, filled with sunshine and rainbows and pink fluffy unicorns dancing on them. Horrible place for me, though. That's why I banished you there. But then I realized that, If you're not evil, it's actually pretty nice. Cursed nice people, thinking backwards from me. But I am getting off-topic. I have brought you to this place to give you a... sort of... gamble, I guess," He stared at us evilly, his pony form flicking a snake tongue through shark teeth. "What kind of gamble?" Jason asked. "Why, one that should be very simple for you," He replied, tapping his fingers together. Suddenly, the two sides of the room twisted and morphed into two scenes. In the Minecraft one, there were all of our girlfriends (Except for Olivia and Seto), weeping over headstones. We looked at them, and they had our names. They thought we were dead. On the pony side, Twilight and her friends were trapped in a cage hanging above lava by nine thin ropes, with Discord lying on top, snipping a pair of scissors extremely close to the ropes. "Choose," barked Herobrine, staring us down. "Between your real life and people you love, or these ponies' lives. If you go back to your regular lives, I will kill the ponies, and never bother you again. But, if you choose the pony side, you will be trapped there, and I'll send in a couple of my... surprises, shall we say?" He cackled evilly. All of us looked at each other nervously. "Alright," Mitch said in my head. "Let's not panic. I'll make it so you can all talk to each other in your head." "Good," I thought, looking at all of us. "You do know I can hear you, right?" Herobrine's voice said in my skull. "Stay out of this," I thought. "So we're all on the same page, right?" I thought, looking at the team. "Right," they replied. "Great," I thought. "So glad we're going home." "Uuummm, excuse me?" Jerome's voice rang out. "We're rescuing the girls." "WHAT? NO WAY!" Ian yelled, looking at us all. "I have to get back to Maddie!" This is going to be a long debate.

(A/N: HAPPY COAST GUARD DAY, EVERYPONY! I literally just went on google and looked up holidays on August Fourth just to say that. I'm so random. So, yeah...... They all want different things. As a list, Adam, Ian, Jason, Mitch, and Ty are on the going home side, while Olivia, Seto, Quentin, and Jerome are on the rescue the ponies side. This should get very interesting.........
