She was all over the place.
Lucy, Lucy, Lucy.
Everywhere he looked,"Have you seen this girl?"
Austin had been trying to hide his outrageous feelings for the last two months but today he couldn't contain himself. He'd seen to much of her and needed to see what was left. He also thought it good to leave town. And so he packed up his bags, threw them in the truck bed, and headed out to the bottom of the cliff. The ride was a good thirty minutes so he listened to a mindless talk show until he found her to distract him from his own thoughts. Memories of that night kept flooding back to him and the more he thought about her, the more he wanted her. Although he knew she was gone, he had to prove to himself that she was. He kept driving until he happened upon her body. He shut off the engine and sat in the truck for a very long time actually. Eyes closed, remembering that night. His eyes snapped open as he thought about shoving her over the edge and he climbed out of the truck. He walked slowly over to her mangled body and just stared. She was covered in maggots and rot, one eyeball bulging out of the socket, the other gone completely. He leaned a little bit closer trying to ignore the repulsive smell radiation from her. There was a small movement in her belly, one he didn't detect till the snake popped from it, fangs out, aimed at his arm. It dug its fangs in deep, although it wouldn't kill him, it still hurt like hell. He jumped up and cursed himself for not being on the guard for such things, then ripped the snake from his arm, creating huge gashes that were sure to make its mark. He screamed, threw the reached thing on the ground and stomped the life from it. He decided he'd had enough of Lucy and left, not knowing where he'd go or how long he'd be homeless.
