"No grandma!! really, let me do this, okay?" She said as she tried to take the broom from her grandmother's hands.
"I might be the luckiest old woman, right? I have a grand daughter who always help me and visit me regularly. Mostly, you always help me to clean this house."
She smiled to her grandma, "I take it as my duties as your grandchild, grandma."
She swept the garden where she played together with her grandfather whenever they were in Korea. She helped her grandma with those housework since she was kid, but bad things that she couldn't learn from her grandma is cooking. She is really bad at it.
The nostalgia is reminiscing of her past when her grandpa played hide and see with her when she was young, she ran around playfully until she felt down, and she cried loudly. She didn't have much things to do around here. So, this is least thing she can do for her grandma.
She remembered so many good memories back when she was with her grandpa. Her grandpa told her to took out the grass from soil while chatting with her and grandma with his funny jokes.
Now it was only her and her grandma, and what made her feel sad even more is she couldn't visit her grandma as much as she wanted due to her work. Still, she tried to call her grandma more often, asking her if she's okay or not, what's going on, what has happened, asked her about her condition. She always send half of her salary to grandma every month.
She kept sweeping, until a car's engine sounds could be heard not far from her house. She slowly looked up and found the familiar car came closer to her place even more closer. On the next second, she gasped when she finds a figure of handsome guy went out from his car.
He brushed his hair with his hand before closing the door. His eyes moved and met Chaeyoung's shocked face. He smirked, like he was winning something precious at the moment.
"Good afternoon, Chaeyoung-a!" Taehyung greeted her in his usual tone, but she never heard it before.
She stuck for a while, but then she shrieked, "Oh my god, what are you doing."
Taehyung opened the passenger door to pick up big luggage and put it on the ground. He laughed when she saw Chaeyoung flashed a horror expression to him.
"What are you doing here?" She asked him again.
He raised an eyebrow, "Shouldn't I be the one who ask you what kind of that face? I'm angry now because you didn't tell me where did you go."
"That's not your business." She shooed him away, "Go away before my grandma sees you." She said in panicked tone.
"Seriously, I just got here and you tell me to leave." He protested.
"Yes!"
"I won't." He shook his head a little.
"What?" She asked him.
"Isn't it obvious, Chaeyoung? I'm just going to spend my break time here with you. Seriously, what were you thinking before? I'm not busy at all yet you left me alone." Taehyung answered her question.
"This is my trip, and you're not allowed to be in." She furrowed her eyebrows.
"But I am here now, let's just have fun together, okay? I'm still mad at you." He whined like a kid.
"This is not so you, and why? What are you mad about?" She's still confused at his sudden change behaviour, like he was so cold before?
"You didn't tell me that you're here in such a great place like this." He said, putting on his sunglasses.
"Oh my god! Now you are here without asking my permission? How many time do I have to tell you that give me a warning sign or tell me before coming into my room? And now you're here in front of my grandma house?" She became so shocked.
"I don't care." he said.
Chaeyoung glared at him. Her eyes moved to the ground at Taehyung's black luggage as she was going to burn it there, "Why did you bring it here?"
Taehyung didn't responded, yet he walked inside the house. His eyes were stuck to the image of views in front of him with the warm smile plastered on his face. Taehyung took his luggage along with him from behind, then he stopped in front of the breath-taking garden inside this house.
Little that she knew was her grandmother already stood in front of the house, and she was there looking at Taehyung approached her grandmother with a warm welcome smile from her grandmother face.
"Aigoooo, Who is this?" Grandma asked when she saw him stopped in front of her. She popped her eyes out when she saw Kim Taehyung bowed down to her grandma perfectly in 90 degrees.
"My name is Kim Taehyung, I'm two years older that your Chaeyoung. Nice to meet you, grandma." He introduced himself to her.
"How did you know that you're two years older than I am?" She was so shocked since she didn't tell anything about her to him but he still knew it
"I have my own way, honey." He turned around and winked at her.
"Hello, Taehyung! It's really nice to see you here. She never brought anybody here before except Lisa. You might be important to her." He grandmother said with chuckling.
"I didn't bring him here." She protested.
"Don't be like this, Chaeyoung." She stopped her grand daughter, "Are you perhaps, Chaeyoung's boyfriend?" Grandma asked him.
"Ahhhhhhh! Not yet. Maybe, later."
There, Chaeyoung left dumbfounded. "Oh my fucking, I'm so embarrassed now. Please spare me another life." She murmured to herself.
Both Taehyung and grandma chatted and laughed with each other as they reall got along with each other well. Her grandma really fell into Taehyung's warm aura, yet the little girl am who was sitting on the bench was so mad at him. Luckily, he knew how to act politely to older person and smiled to show how nice he is.
She walked closer to them with frown on her face. Grandma noticed this and smiled at her, " Chaeyoung-a! What's with your face? Greet him politely."
"I already did."
"When? Oh I remember it now. Is this how great me when you showed me away when I just came?" He teased her.
She smiled to Chaeyoung, "If you called a shriek as you found him arrived and asked him to leave is how you called greet politely, I think you won't get meal for tonight."
Chaeyoung's eyes went wider, "WHAT?" Meanwhile, Kim Taehyung kept laughing like a kid.
"That's not nice of you, Chaeyoung. He came here to be with you." She explained her stubbornness grand daughter.
"I don't ask him to do." She coldly looked away.
"But I want." Taehyung stood up and out his arm on her shoulder.
Grandma slightly chuckle at them, "Take him to special guest room, Chaeyoung."
Taehyung smiled, "I can do it by myself, grandma."
No, no, you're our special guest. Chaeyoung will do it for you." Grandma said.
She rolled her eyes before glaring at Taehyung. "Follow me!"
