In the morning, Chaeyoung's eyes lifted up because of the laughing sound from ground floor. She turned her back and hide herself under the blanket, but then she heard the laughing sound became louder and louder. She couldn't help but groan. She threw her blanket off of her body and clearly woke up.
"Why the hell they have to be noisy in this morning?"
She yawned a bit as she walked up from when she was sitting down. She couldn't open her eyes with full clear vision and yes, she is still sleepy.
Her eyes became wider as she remembered the truth that she's in her own room right now. How can I be here?
Taehyung?
The only thing she remembered from last night was when he hugged her tightly, patted her shoulder, and told her everything is alright when she sobbed so hard. The most unforgettable speech from him was to be here with her no matter what. That's all she remembered.
Last night supposed to be a very cold night, but it turned to warm in his embrace. Chaeyoung's cheeks became pink as she felt a soft touch of his hand on her cheeks, and her face. She shook her head in confused, "He is just a great friend, seriously. I shouldn't think about anything else, but is he being nice to me or what?"
Friend and boss are the only words she described Taehyung before, but what has happened last night she realised that he is more than that.
She tied up her hair in messy bun with her bare face and was ready to go downstairs. She looked much better compared when she just woke up.
As she reached the ground, she found her grandmother sat down on the terrace watching Taehyung watering her grandma's garden.
"You did it so well, Taehyung. Where have you learned this from?" Her grandma asked him, he smiled to her grandma. She looked at him
who was really busy doing his work, more like he help her grandma. He looked up and smiled brightly to her when he noticed she watched him for the whole time, "Oh you're awake, have you had your breakfast yet?""Not yet." She smiled at him awkwardly since what has happened with them last night, "I just came from upstairs, how about you, Taehyung? Have you had yours? Was the breakfast ready?"
She stated too many questions, but Taehyung was still laughing at her confused face, "Yes! In the kitchen, Chaeyoung."
"Chaeyoung-a!!! You should eat a lot because Taehyung put too many efforts in it." Grandma added.
"Okay!" She kisses her grandma's cheek before walking back to dining room. She took a seat and looked around. There were so many several simple food on table but her grandma described like it was from heaven.
She took a look at the garden outside through the window, catching the view of Taehyung stood up with a proud face. She could she him mouthed some words but she shrugged her shoulder as she didn't know a thing that he talked about and started eating her breakfast peacefully.
"How is it now, grandma." Taehyung approached grandma who was sitting on the terrace and asked her as he took of his boots. "It's nice that you can help me to fix my old garden gate. I couldn't be more thankful that this. Thanks, Taehyung." She replied him with the happiness tone in her voice.
Taehyung could be heard from the outside, and it made Chaeyoung feel butterflies in her stomach for no reason, "it's just happened to be me to help you, grandma. May I go and wash my dirty hands now, grandma?"
"Take your time, young man."
Taehyung nodded and walked inside the house. There, his eyes met Chaeyoung's eyes which stuck in each other unpropitious when she was waiting for Taehyung to come in. They still didn't avoid the eyes contact as Chaeyoung awkwardly broke the contact between them and focused back on her breakfast.
She cleared her throat, "Good morning, Taehyung."
He walked through the sink and cleaned his hands as he moved his gaze to her after finishing. He smiled widely, "Good, how about you?"
It was really awkward and uncomfortable at the same time to know that they hadn't known each other for long time but they've already shared a lot of secret to each other that no one knows before. Is it just a fate?
"Thank you for last night, boss." She winked at him while he felt for her charm so deep, "I have a nice sleep."
"Just call me Taehyung no matter where we are and even in company. Just call me by name." He warned her.
"Just kidding, don't take it too seriously." She laughed at his cute frowning face. "You look like a kid today, Taehyung."
He pouted at her words as she continued, "What were you doing in the garden?" She asked him.
Only in a few minutes, he was beside her and took a seat next to her seat, "I was helping your grandma to fix that wood gate in the garden. At first, she was about to call a garden to change a new one instead but I insisted to do it. She just let me be." He showed her his charm that he has never ever shown to any others before and it was his boxy smile.
"Thanks once again, Taehyung. You must be tired now." She worried about him.
Taehyung's smile appeared again, "Glad that I could do something useful here."
"Hey," She nudged him a little and he turned his face to look at her.
"I have known somewhere that you couldn't believe that it existed on earth." She showed him her smile, "Wanna go?"
"But it wasn't any special place to visit, it was just a small one place after all." She finished.
"That's for you, but for me it's definitely new." He pouted.
She thought for moments after she nodded in agreement, and another nice idea suddenly popped out from her head, "Go and don't forget to pack your clothes too."
"Clothes? Why?" Taehyung's frowned.
"Yes, ppali." She shooed him away.
"Okay." He ran upstairs quickly and followed her order.
