I grabbed Yuichiro's lifeless body and fought off the wolves as I ran out of our home. Blood kept dripping down his neck, I felt him huff.
"Yuu?" I said trying to catch my breath while I carried him in my arms.
I quickly stopped and bite my lip so hard that, blood could drip down from it. I looked at his cold body as I placed my lips against his. I made sure the blood dripped down into his throat. I could hear a gulp as he reacted to my blood. I backed away as he twitched and his eyes rolled back.
"Yuu~chan..." I mumbled softly as he started to scream and cover his ears.
I was becoming afraid that his body wouldn't be able to take up this form due to the fact that he too is a wolf. He suddenly stopped and was quiet for a very long time so, I rushed towards him as he looked at me with tears pouring down from his eyes.
"Mika-a I was scared" He mumbled out as his face cracked.
"It's okay to be scared, Yu" I said as I grabbed him into a hug.
I heard a howl from afar as I glared at the darkness inside the forest. I thought to myself, "We should hurry up and catch up to the others". I looked at Yuu as he seemed to be touching his ears.
"Oi, Mika they're pointy" He said as he played with his own ears.
"Ughhh.... Yuu we need to get going " I said trying not to slap my head.
"Mika do you have some too?!!!?" He said rushing towards me and making me fall backwards.
"Yuu, s-stop we need to go!" I said trying to crawl away from his small trap.
He squeezed my cheeks and smiled as heat ran up to my cheeks. I smiled and looked into his eyes and said, "I love you so much". I kissed him lightly before we ran outside of these forest. I searched around to see if anyone had followed us.
"Michiro~o w~where are chu~" Yuu said as he looked around.
"Your such a fool sometimes...." I mumbled out as I looked around as well.
I heard a horrible cry as we both rushed back to the woods. I saw blood dripping down from Yumi's arm as I looked at Lu that seemed to be taunted by a terrifing ghost. I hugged Yumi as I placed pressure against the wound. Michiro hugged Lu as Lu was now crying and repeating the words, "Mom, stay....please".
I saw a wolf appear out of nowhere and glared at us. I saw Michiro turn into his wolf form as he kept his guard up against this lone wolf. Yuichiro seemed not to want to turn into his wolf form because he was busy trying to comfort Lu. Michiro growled at the lone wolf and I got up with Yumi in my arms.
"Michiro, leave it alone. We need to go get shelter as soon as possible" I said as Yumi was now falling asleep in my arms.
He turned into his human form as he claimed, "Will she be okay?!?"
"Yes, but we need somewhere to rest and fighting the pup would be trouble for you" Yu stated as he carried Lu in his arms as well.
The lone wolf turned into his human form as I opened my eyes widely. Yuu's jaw almost dropped to the ground as we both looked at the wolf in shock.
"G-guren?" Yuichiro mumbled out.
The younger boy tilted his head, "Are you talking about my dead father?"
Michiro seemed to be annoyed as he pinned down the other boy onto the ground.
"Claim whom you are! And why you followed us! NOW!" Michiro seemed pissed already.
"Leave him alone, we need to get going" I said as I started to walk out of the woods.
"I want to help!" The boy said.
Yuu looked at him and said, "Well then, welcome to the family"
"WHAT?!!!? BUT MOM!" Michiro said as he started to follow me.
"I'm your dad too! Not a mom.... and he seems to look like a rebel" Yuichiro said with a laughter.
"You seem like a moron" I mumbled out as Yu was now smiling widely.
