Normal POV~

Yami and his friends were sitting on the roof eating their lunch. Their lunch was a bento, filled with rice, vegetables, and different types of sushi.

"I think we can at least be away from them when it's school time," Malik said while he played with his vegetables.

"Yeah, they won't try anything on us... I think," Yami agreed, drinking his cup of water.

"Let's just hope they don't take advantage of us... You know, since we're... you know..." Bakura hoped as they continued eating. His best friends nodded and smiled.

"We're stronger than we look, Bakura, especially with your skills with sharp objects. Malik can get rather aggressive when the time calls for it, and I'm rather good with words and fists." Yami explained, giggling.

"You're right, these little guys would love to be used again." The albino said, patting his lower pocket. Malik chuckled.

"Remember that one time in the seventh grade? When you threatened Stacey with a blade and she started to cry?" The three boys burst into a fit of laughs.

"Serves her right! She didn't have the right to call me a little bitch!" Soon enough the bell rang, indicating that lunch was over. They packed up their lunch and walked to their next class, talking about that one time in their laugh.

-Yami's dorm- 6:37 p.m.-

Yami was in his dorm listening to music and singing the lyrics. He loved to sing, but only when he was alone. While Atem walked past his room he thought there was an angel in Yami's room, but he recognized Yami's voice. He stood in front of Yami's door listening to Yami sing with the lyrics. It was a Japanese song, and it seemed peaceful. When he finished singing, Atem opened the door and clapped for him. Yami jumped in surprise and blushed.

"Some beautiful voice you have, I'm surprised you haven't signed up for the school's singing tournament," Atem chuckled, he sounded like he meant it.

"Thank you," Yami whispered quietly. He was blushing red now, he had never been told that he has a beautiful voice in his life.

"You're welcome, but seriously, sign up for the singing tournament. I would love hearing your voice again soon." Atem said, giving him a small wink and then walking out the room. That wink made Yami blush harder, if even possible, but made him think. 'Should I?'. While he was thinking, he thought of a song that would be perfect for the contest.

-The next day-

"Really! Well, in that case, I think you should. I mean, I'm pretty sure if he likes your voice everyone else will as well." Bakura said after Yami finished telling them what happened to him, leaving the winking part out. He wanted his best friend's opinion, and walking around the school was the best time to do so.

"Yeah, you should. I heard your singing before, it's actually amazing." Malik said, stopping to take a bite out of his sandwich.

"Thank you," Yami said, out of the corner of his eye he spotted a flyer with two slots open. His friends laughed and pushed him towards the poster, he laughed as well and walked to it to write his name on it. After doing so, two girls came up to the flyer as well.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing?!" One of the girls asked.

"Putting my name on this flyer?" Yami answered confused, the girls glared at him.

"Those two slots were for us!" They yelled, Yami just shrugged.

"Then why didn't you put your names here earlier?" Yami questioned.

"Because we saw the bad boys and didn't have time to put our names there!" The pale one said.

"What's your name you rat?!" The other asked.

"I'm Yami, Yami Motou," Yami responded.

"Well then Yami Motou, my name is Anzu and this right here is my sister Téa. We will see which one of us wins this tournament. If I win then you'll get us a date with the bad boys, I don't know how you'll do it but you WILL do it, and if you win, we'll pay you ten thousand dollars. Deal?" Anzu said, 'The money could help me with college, but if they win how will I get them a date with the bad boys?' Yami mused.

"Deal," Yami agreed suddenly. Oh, gods, what did he get himself into?

"Whatever, it's not like you'll win anyway," Anzu huffed while she put her name on the flyer, they then walked away. Yami sighed 'What did I get myself into?' He thought as he walked back to his friends. Unaware that the bad boys were watching the whole thing. Atem's rose-red eyes were burning with anger as he watched how Anzu and Téa talked to his flatmate, but, he knew Yami would win.

"Do you think he'll win Atem?" Akefia asked, turning his head to their leader.

The three bad boys were on the roof, where they could see everything, perfect for making sure their roommates were safe.

"If you ever heard his voice, then you'll see that he will win," Atem scolded like it was obvious

"Then shall we sneak into his bedroom and wait until he sings?" Marik suggested. He earned a glare from Atem.

"If you do that, I swear to Ra, I will murder you in your sleep," Atem stated darkly, Marik gulped and nodded

"You'll hear his angelic voice when it's time," Atem said normally, a twinkle in his eyes. He smiled when he saw Yami giggle happily with his friends while they sat down on the grass.

"Someone's in love," Akefia said, shaping a heart with his hands, Atem smirked.

"I won't deny that, but I can say the same for you with your roommate," Atem said, Marik started laughing slightly. Akefia glared at him.

"You're in love as well," Akefia said, Marik stopped laughing and pouted

"You got me there," Marik said. A peaceful silence began as they continued to spy on their 'Little ones' to make sure they were safe. It has only been a good two months, but the bad boys could say this: They were in love with their cute roommates.
