Normal POV~

It was now time for the students to go back to their dorm since the school day was already over. Atem was walking with a big bag with his and Yami's homework they missed over the week of not going to school. Which wasn't really their fault, but they couldn't just tell the school about what they have been through, they would've thought they were crazy so they didn't have an excuse but say they were sick.

"Damn, how much homework did we miss? I don't want Yami to stay up late because of this thing." Atem said, opening his dorm door. Once he was in, he threw the bag on the couch and went to check on Yami. Yami was in the kitchen, however, cooking something that smelled really good.

"Aren't you supposed to be in bed Yami?" Atem questioned. Yami didn't know Atem had entered the dorm so he was a bit startled.

"Oh, hey Atem. I got out of bed because I felt the pain go away a bit. Well, as much as to let me at least walk. I took a small shower and went to the kitchen since I knew you would be back soon so I started making some food." Yami said, stirring whatever was in the pot.

"Whatever it is your cooking, it reminds me when you first cooked for me," Atem said sitting at the table, summoning his mysterious crystal and examining it. Yami chuckled, tasting the soup he made.

"Where I thought you were going to be a complete jerk. I got to say, you proved me wrong." Yami said, taking out some dishes from the kitchen cabinets.

"I'm not a jerk! Well, not most of the time." Atem said, looking at the rock as it glowed purple.

"I can agree with you on that," Yami said, pouring some soup into the dishes. Adding some lemon and salt.

'Looks like this crystal isn't what I thought it was, it looks like it needs to be connected to something. But what...' Atem thought, his mind then thought of the things that could possibly be useful with this crystal. But shortly the thoughts ended by Yami placing the dish in front of him.

"What's that?" Yami asked, as he once again, saw that crystal.

"That's what I want to know, all I know about this crystal is that it is magical. It needs to be connected to something, but I don't know what it could be connected to." Atem said, later dismissing the crystal.

"We shouldn't worry about this right now, however, we need to eat then you can start on the homework. I want you starting early so you don't stay up late." Atem stated.

"You really want me to be a good student, don't you?" Atem smiled.

"Of course, I won't let myself influence you badly."

"All right, how much homework do we- I mean, I have?" Yami asked

"About thirty-one sheets, I have no clue why they give so much homework in this era. We used to have only about two pages and that was enough." Atem said, shaking his head. Yami let out a small laugh.

"Lucky you, but thirty-one sheets is nothing for me. I'll get half of them done today and then finish the rest tomorrow." Yami said, starting to eat when finishing the sentence.

"I can help you a bit, maybe you'll get them all done by a helping hand. After all, I'm not unintelligent." Atem confirmed. Yami nodded smiling, he liked when Atem helped him with stuff. Letting that feeling stay there, they continued eating. After they were done eating, Atem handed Yami his homework and they went up to do it.

I think you can say, that they will not be needing Atem's room for a while. Considering that they will be sharing a bed. And no, they won't do it, both knew Yami couldn't be walking with a limp tomorrow again because of what they want to do. Well, at least not tonight.

Hello, did the title confuse you? I brought back that crystal because it will be needed in... another time... yeah another time. I finally brought it after... eight chapters. I won't be saying why that crystal will be needed, but you'll find out soon. And also, I have no idea if they gave out like actually two pages of homework, or if they even gave out homework, in ancient Egypt. Anyhow...

See you in the next chapter bye!
