The best thing that happened to us

Normal POV~

"Faster Atem! Faster!" Yami exclaimed, beaming brightly while he was being pushed on the swing by Atem. They had decided to come to the park today, the day was perfect and they wanted to see the sunset. The couple came a few hours early, so they could play and hang out for a while. Maybe a few make-out sessions here and there... But nothing really serious. What am I talking about? Atem almost took off Yami's shirt. Luckily, Yami stopped him.

"Are you sure? You're pretty high right up there." Atem said, continuing to push Yami.

"Yes- I'm- sure!" Yami shouted excitedly. Atem chuckled and did what he was told. As Yami was yelling happily, the air blew on his bangs making it go behind him. Showing his charming eyes. Gods, if Atem had a dollar for every time Yami was adorable, he would be the richest man in humanity.

"Yo, Pharaoh!" Marik greeted to the happy couple. Atem slowly stopped the swing and looked at Marik.

"What's up?" Marik grinned.

"Where's my free pushing? I wanted you to push me last time and you didn't do it. I am still waiting!" Marik whimpered, Malik, popped out from behind him.

"I can push you," Malik said, Marik grinned again.

"Can you?" Marik challenged, Malik, grinned back at him.

"I can, just watch me," Malik said confidently. Atem sighed in relief.

"At least he took care of it. I don't want to push that monster in a swing anytime soon." Atem said, placing a hand on his forehead. Yami chuckled

"I'm sure he isn't that bad," Yami said, sitting the opposite way he was sitting to face Atem. He giggled at the feigned fear in Atem's orbs.

"Oh, you have no idea," Atem said, watching Malik push Marik on the swing. He almost felt bad for Malik. Yami chuckled softly before looking at the sky.

"Oh, how I love this day. It's nice and pleasant." Yami said, spotting Akefia and Bakura after a moment. The two were holding hands, casually walking towards their four friends.

"Oh, great, what's next?" Atem said when Akefia and Bakura approached the four.

"Nice day huh?" Bakura said smiling, Yami smiled back at him.

"It is actually, I'm sure the sun is almost going to go down," Yami told him, trying not to think back when he poured water on Bakura's head as payback. Bakura grinned at him.

"No more pranks, okay?" Bakura suggested, Yami nodded.

"No more pranks," Yami repeated, Malik chuckled at them.

"I would've liked that you guys did a prank war. it would've been entertaining." Malik said, as he stopped pushing Marik

"What a coincidence that we all came here. We came here for relaxing a bit. What're your reasons?" Akefia said, looking at his companions.

"We came here for the sunset, but we came a bit earlier so we decided to play a bit," Atem said, looking at Yami's smiling face.

"We came here mostly for the swings," Marik said, he is childish sometimes, and when it comes to swings, count him in!

"Good enough reasons," Akefia said.

"Before we look at the sunset, can I steal my best friends for a few minutes?" Yami questioned, Bakura and Malik nodded to their lovers. The bad boys understood and walked away to a nearby tree and sat down.

"How's it going for you guys? I mean, with your bad boys?" Yami asked, both of his best friends chuckled lightly.

"It's going wonderful for me, and I'm sure Bakura's relationship is going wonderful as well. How's yours?" Malik questioned, Yami couldn't help but grin.

"It's lovely, I wouldn't be with anyone else but him. He treats me well, and at first, I thought it wouldn't work. But he proved me wrong, once again." Yami said, laying down on the grass they were at.

"They proved us all wrong," Malik said, sighing dreamily like.

"You do realize we sound like girls right now?" Bakura acknowledged, Yami chuckled softly.

"It's worth it," Yami stated.

With the bad boys~

"Who knew? We and our reincarnations together? I certainly didn't expect this." Akefia said, leaning against the tree.

"I didn't either, and I wouldn't change it," Atem said, staring at Yami as he talked with his best friends.

"I wouldn't either. I love Malik, reincarnation or not. I will love him even after I die." Marik said.

"That will be our word of honor." Atem declared, Akefia and Marik nodded in agreement. All six not knowing, that they said the same thing at the same time.

"This is the best thing that has happened to us."
