Mr. Irwin seemed really out of it today. And I swear he was trying not to look at Bryn. Which is weird. And she didn't even talk to me that much. Or answer any questions. Which again is weird. Because she's one of the best musicians in the class. And usually is the one to answer all the question. I don't know. It was just odd.

"What was with that?" I asked Bryn in the hallway.

"What?"

"Why didn't you talk in band?!"

"I don't know. I just didn't want to talk." She seemed upset. Like she was going to cry.

"Okay. What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Are you sure nothing's wrong?"

"Yes. Now if you will excuse me. I have to use the restroom." After that's she disappeared into the bathrooms.
Ashley and I went to our class. History.

Ugh. I hate history.

About half way through the class I heard my name be called over the intercom saying I was needed in the office. Everyone just turned to me. I got up and left. As I opened the door to see Bryn. She helped out in the office and I guess there was a thing she needed for Geometry.

"Here you go." She smiled really big.

"Thank you so so so much."

"Welcome. I just want you to know. I'm alway here for you."

"Okay. Thanks." She nodded. Slowly.. I took the long route to history. All we ever did in there was work. So its not like I was going to miss anything.
I'm a very shy person. I have social anxiety, so I don't talk to a lot of people. Other than my friends of course. Oh, I also have trust issues, so if I tell you anything slightly personal, I trust you quite a lot. It takes me some time to get use to you, or get to know you. But other than that, I'm fine. My brown hair complements my green/brown eyes and light tan skin. I don't like to dress up. I wear a lot of t-shirts, hoodies, and jeans. I also love cats. Like. A ton.

"Hey! Olivia right?" James called out. I like James. He's one of the hottest guys in school. And everyone wants to date him. And of course he's a senior.

"Y-yea. Hey." I stuttered. Damn it!! I've got to be more confident. I'll try to work on that.

"Cool. I just wanted to ask if you could help me figure out what I did wrong on the math assignment. It just doesn't make sense."

"Oh. Sure. W-when?"

"Maybe after school? At the library?" He pointed to the direction it was in.

"Y-yea. Of c-course I can."

"Great. Thanks." I walked away quickly. I had to get to class. But as soon as I sat down, I smiled stupidly and wrote down some things.

James. The James Dylan asked me to help him with math. That's odd, I probably shouldn't thing anything of it.
•••
"Okay. So what do you need help with?" I sat down at the library table we were at. James sat across from me.

"This same direction, round trip, and opposite travel problems. I just don't get it."

"Oh. Okay. Well first you have to figure out what kind of problem it was."

"Okay. This one is a round trip one right?" I nodded. Showing him what to do next.

I tutored him for about an hour. Showing how to work the three types of problems. We spent a lot of time on the same direction problems. But I think he know how to work them out.

"Olivia. Would you mind... Umm.. Tutoring me more often. And for a few other classes?" Oh god. Tutoring him more. Means spending more time with him. Which means we could get to know each other. Oh god, this is very nerve-racking for me.

"S-sure."

"Okay. Thank you. My grades a really bad and I need to bring them up if I want to get a football scholarship." Did I mention he was the quarterback of out football team?

"Okay. I'm d-down to help you." I smiled. Making him smile. God his smile was beautiful.

We packed up our stuff and left the library. I went home and flopped down on my bed.

"I'm tutoring James Dylan." I sighed and squealed a little bit.

"Olivia!!! Dinners ready!!!" Wow already. My mom usually didn't cook dinner until later. Like around 7. It was only 5:30... Oh well. I walked/jumped down the stair to find some of dads work friends over. That was very uneventful. We ate dinner (spaghetti casserole. Yum), then my parents and then had a conversation about grown up things. Things that bore me.
