It wasn't ever supposed to happen like it did. It wasn't supposed to happen at all...

Katarina Rhodes was just an average girl tagging along with her best friend on a much needed trip to Los Angeles, California. She grumbled at the idea of going out to a boisterous arena filled with yelling people, but her best friend since age ten convinced her to come and watch an MMA fight. MMA fights weren't all her thing, until she fell in love with one of the fighters.

Knox Taylor.

Then commences a fierce battle between the head and the heart. Which one will win?

I make my way over to the vending machine and dig a couple dollars out for a Milky Way bar. I feed it in and watch the thing do its magic, but the damn bar doesn't quite fall from the slot.

     "Dumb machine!" I mutter.

     All of a sudden, a huge fist slams into the machine. The bar falls from the slot with a plunk, but I'm fucking scared shitless. I jump at the loud noise and my heart just about leaps out of my chest. I turn to who the fist belongs to and struggle to stop my jaw from hitting the floor.

     It's him.

     Knox fricken Taylor.

starts and runs so please be prepared. I
