"Late again, honestly, when are you going to be on time?" My aunt scolded us. "Probably never." Ashvi whispered to me and I snorted. "What was that?" She gave us a look. "Nothing, Ms. Lin." Ashvi said quickly. I stifled a laugh and she glared at me.
"So. You guys are going to dance to a song. You can pick which one, but it CAN NOT be a duet, since Mei Na is going alone." My aunt said and gave Ashvi a look. She then left the room. "Sorry.." I said to Ashvi and she waved me off. "Nah, it's fine. If I go on there I'll probably fall off the stage or something." She said, grinning. "But hook me up with Li Nong, will ya?" I rolled my eyes. "Don't you have his number?" I said, exasperated. "And you're making this sound like our last good bye or something." I rolled my eyes again. "I mean, you might die. Oh, the possibilities." Ashvi said, sarcastic.
"Whatever." We sat down on the floor and scrolled through YouKu. "Ooh, what about this, Mei Na?" She showed me her phone screen. "Sure." I shrugged. "But I'm only dancing to that, I'm singing and rapping to other stuff." Ashvi got up and plugged her phone into Bluetooth.
They're the first group. Mei Na is girl in the red shirt. Ashvi is the girl in gray sweatshirt.
"Girl, you should do BTS as your rap." Ashvi said. "Yeah, I know." I said. The choreography teacher helped me improve on the songs. Then I practiced on my own with Ashvi's help.
I think I'll be fine the day after tomorrow.
