Chapter 5

Jay's P.O.V

I woke up. My heart was pounding super fast. Damn those son of bitch guards found me and put me back in my room. I searched my pocket to see if they took the badge. They didn't. I put the badge back in my pocket and got ready for the day. I heard screaming in the other room. It was Jocelyn.
"Jocelyn are you alright?" I asked. No answer it got quiet. "Jocelyn! Jocelyn!" Still no answer. I couldn't hear anything on her end. I sat down by the wall, I nearly cried. Tears rolled down my cheeks. "She's the only person keeping me sane. What am I going to do without her." I whispered. Out of hope I called her name again.
"Jocelyn! Are you ok. Please say something. Please." I cried. I had to do my live. So I washed my face and walked into the living room.
"We're going live in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1." The computer voice said.
"GOOD MORING AMERICA here in Chamber Cains live from your computer is KILL OR DIE. I am your marvelous host, Matt Sparks, and now for the man, Jay!" Matt said.
"Good Morning guys, it's great seeing you all e-even though I can't see you." I said.
"Haha, Jay tell us what you're doing today." Matt said.
"Looks like I will be watching a video. Hmmm it's called Scars. Can't wait to watch it."
"Go ahead and go to your computer and watch it Jay." Matt said. I walked to my computer and played the video. It was a girl, sitting in her seat.
"Hello, I am 235876. I've had fun these past 7 years. This live show is my everything. I love being famous." The girl said.
"I'm going to leave the room. Don't do anything you might regret." The producer said.
"Of course! I'm going to tell this viewer how awesome this live is." The girl said as the producer left. "Listen to me carefully Jay. There's not a lot of time left. You're wife, Elle, is still alive. But they're going to cancel her show in 2 weeks. You have to save her, and yourself. There's a badge in the security room the lets you access the exit door. Find it and leave, but be careful, they're guards everywhere surrounding that room. If they catch you in the security room, they'll cancel your show. Get that badge and leave. But be careful and DON'T GET CAUGHT." The girl said. The video ended.
"That's an interesting video." I said.
"What was it about Jay?" Matt asked.
"A girl talking about how much she loves her live. They forced her to say that." I said.
"Hahaha Jay you're so funny. No one forced anything. You're such a funny joker." Matt said.
"Yea I love to joke around." Matt said.
"Ok guys that's all we have for you guys today, tune in next time for KILL OR DIE." Matt said.
     "That end today's show. Please go to your room to better yourself." The computer voice said. I ran to my room and to the wall. I sat down by it.
     "Jocelyn! Please don't be dead. Please be ok." I cried. Tears rolling down my cheeks once again. I lost her. I tried to get out of my spot but I couldn't. Part of me was hoping she would say something. I just sat there. I slept there. I can't escape tonight. I'll try again tomorrow. I slept next to the wall. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.
