Have you ever wondered why people act the way they do? I know it's a weird question, but have you? Sometimes to understand people you must get to know them, become their friend, if you would say. But there are sometimes it is best to just "follow along" and figure them out on their own terms. Okay, I admit, that last thing didn't quite make sense, but, it pulled you in, didn't it? Now, I bet you are wondering where this is exactly leading up to. But, don't worry, you'll figure it out soon enough. For now, let's just start where this so called "story" begins.

School has always been easy for me, which is the reason I don't quite hate school, I just see it as an inconvenience. My parents always praise me for my good grades, and they always tell me I was smart ever since I was three. But the trouble is, I don't remember anything before five years ago. So, I'm 17 years old, and I can only remember things that happened when I was 12. It sounds bad, right? It's actually not. Though, I don't quite understand how I do well in school if I can't remember things before five years ago.
I have a friend who I, supposedly, have known all my life. We are really good friends, but, again, can't even remember before five years ago. So, though I don't know much about her, she knows all about me, which can be scary sometimes. Shouldn't I know my memories? I just don't understand it. I haven't even told my parents yet, but maybe they already know. Maybe they know the reason I don't remember things before I was twelve. So that's basically what started the conversation with my parents....

Hey, thanks for reading this far if you did! I love to write stories, I think they are fun and exciting! But sometimes I catch my self starting one with this great idea, but not having the motivation to finish. Like what I do with my artwork, I don't think I'm good at writing, but I guess everyone says that about their work. I'm hoping I'll actually continue this because I have so many ideas for this book. Honestly it's a short chapter because me, being the person I am, just now decided to maybe put out a story after reading one at one o'clock in the morning. Anyway, please tell me, SHOULD I CONTINUE.?.?
