I had science testing today. I almost died of bordom. I hate it all, the costant, high expectations of everyone, the way they think we can learn everything. It's absolutely crazy!
As I stepped off the shuttle, I noticed that the sun was already down. Then out pig the corner of my eye, I caught Heather and someone else walk into a building.
My curiosity overpowered me, as I decided to follow them. As I approved the building it became familiar. It was the art building. I've never been in, but I passed it every time I walked to the shuttle stop. Plus it has a big sign that read art.
When I got inside, I heard a pair of hushed voices.
"Are you sure?"
"Of course I'm sure, why do you think I came here if I wasn't absolutely positive about what I saw."
The other voice was male.
There was a long pause before Heather spoke again.
"Well, just give me until after the Choosing. Okay?"
"Fine. But we'll go right after the Choosing."
I'd decided I'd heard enough. I crept back along the wall towards the door when I suddenly heard footsteps from behind. I glanced around, and dove into the girls bathroom. I quickl yran into a stall and stood on the toilet seat for good measure. I waited until I heard the front door close, and then slowly crept out from the shadows.
I walked back in frustration. What did the other person mean by what I saw. Heather obviously knew him, but why would she met him here?
As I walked home, my head was filed with so many questions, it made me dizzy, made me want some answers.
When I got back, no one was awake, so I quietly lay down on on my back, starting at the sealing, deep in thought.
I wanted some answers.
And when you want answers, sometimes the best thing to do is wait.
