Rydel's Point Of View

My teacher let me off for my last period to just walk around and get to know the school better. And I am, just that I whispered to her that I would be in the music room. Riker knows my schedule so if I'm not outside at the time he wants me to, he'll ask my teacher where I am. I notice a big black piano and I rememember my favorite song A Thousand Years by Christiana Perri. I sit down and start playing.

Heart beats fast,

Colors and promises,

I hear a voice playig with mine so I turned around and saw Riker. "Don't stop, your amazing." He says and sits next to me, playing the same cords as me. He starts singing along with me.

Riker looks at me as we finish, I look at him back. He smiles and kisses my forhead.

That was Riker's favorite part.

Riker gets out a black little box and opens it, revealing a golden locket with a golden heart. He opens it and it reveals a picture of me as a kid sleeping on the kid version of Riker as he was smiling at me. Then he gets out a picture of us as kids with him dressed as Buzz LightYear and me dressed as Woody.

It wrote "To Infinity and Beyond" with an infinity sign.

I was now on the verge of tears, but Riker wiped them away with his thumb.

"Darling don't be afraid I have loved you for a thosand years, I'll love you for a thousand more."
