There were the sounds of children, echoing in the pits of darkness, exuding ill intents, as these wicked forces chased down after a single voice that ushered fear and utter confusion, thinking as to why it should suffer like this, despite not doing anything wrong to anything or anyone. I have done nothing, this feminine voice says loudly, followed by the continuation that reeks of desperation, stating that everyone should just leave her alone. She runs off without stopping once, ignoring her heavy breathing until she felt a sharp sense of pain in her leg and stumbled to the ground, all the while realizing that a protruding rock is what had caused for her to lose her balance. She writhes in pain as a cut was formed from her fall and it felt so painful that she can’t even stand.
She saw the origin of the distorted voices, coming out from several entity bearing the colour of almost transparent white with humanoid outline, that chased her down approaching from a distance and threw small pieces of rocks and pebble at her, some even hit her on the forehead while chanting the sentence  that she had been called with for as long as she could remember, the tall ogre. She covers her face with her arms, perpetually stuck in the cycle of anguish, thinking why everyone would bother her just due to her height that’s less common than the other kids, cursing on the fact that why she is given such an aggravating “advantage”, at the same time. She doesn’t even have the strength to crawl away to safety, and forced to endure all the pain being inflicted until she heard a loud yell. Go away, morons! the voice screamed, unto such she no longer felt constant pain.
Her eyes were opened, and she saw a beautiful girl that had heterochromia, with her left eye being blue and the right is black. There’s also a few strands of white hair stands out from the rest of her dark hair and the darkness consuming them. This girl looks on her with a frown, and give out her hand, which hesitation comes but she tries to grab a hold of it anyway. Right after doing that, somehow she slipped off and fell to the ground, utterly confused by the situation. What’s going on, she said, as she turned her head upward, and her expression turns horrid, after seeing that the girl in front of her is fading into dust.
“No! Don’t leave me alone!”
Her screams echoed in the vast space of unforeseeable emptiness. The next thing she knew, her eyes were opened. She could see leaves falling from the trees surrounding her. Her breathing is heavy and her forehead is sweating as if she just finished doing a long run. Where am I, she said. Realizing that she needs to get a grip of the situation, she breaths in and out to compose herself. After a while, she tries to get back up and stood upward.
“Haruna, are you okay?” She heard a sudden voice and was a bit shocked by it until she staggered a bit.
She turns around and saw that it was Kuro all along, blinking at her. A sudden sensation of sadness immediately overwhelms her, as she moves forward and hugged her with an unprecedented compassion, while tears flowed down from her eyes a little.
“Kuro-chan! You’re okay! You’re okay! I’m so glad!” She was really overjoyed, much to the confusion of Kuro that looks perplexed.
“Hey, what’s wrong? Did you have a bad dream?” Kuro asked with such a gentle tone while stroking on Haruna’s white hair.

“What do you mean what’s wrong? Aren’t you injured, from fighting that elf?” Haruna asked as she closed her eyes and rested her head on Kuro’s shoulder.

“What elf? We haven’t met anyone yet aside from that Goddess and the random horse carriage. Are you sure you aren’t daydreaming?”

Upon hearing that, Haruna opened her eyes in shock. She didn’t put too much thought into the whole thing, however, as she lingered about for a while before deciding on what to do next.

“Is that so? Please forgive me then. You’re right, I did have a bad dream. But it’s okay now, you’re here with me, and that’s all that matters.” Haruna said so, as her tone of voice changed for the better.

“You can really say some words that are straight out of a manga, you know? Don’t you have a sense of shame?” said Kuro, as she gave off a smile, still hasn’t moved her fingers from Haruna’s hair.
