Anniversary part II

Joe fell asleep after he made sure she fell asleep too. She was definitely not alright. But you can't just wake up a sleeping beauty, can you? What if she just had a nightmare? Or a stalker sending her creepy messages? Is that why she was so nervous today?

He silently got up and asked security if he was the only person here today, or if anything happened. Nothing happened.
So he's gonna find out what's wrong first thing in the morning. Maybe it's just a nightmare.
He woke up again two hours later because something didn't feel alright.

Oh My... He thought. She doesn't lie next to me. Maybe she ran away. Maybe she was planning to do that.. She wouldn't do that His heart keeps telling him what a great person she is. She would tell you something happened, that was so bad that it would make her run away. So he walked around in the house and found her asleep on the couch with her makeup as a mess, her face full of dried tears. Whatever happened, it must be really bad

So he laid next to her and dried her tears. He would ask her for an explanation the next morning, and pressure her into talking. You can't just be so nervous and sad and not tell your partner about what's wrong. That's not how it works.

He finally fell asleep with his arms wrapped around her in a tight hug.

Being the one with more sleep, Taylor woke up first in the morning. She felt so warm in Joe's hug until she remembered what happened yesterday. She wriggled out of his hug without waking him and went into the kitchen. Shortly before she finished making breakfast, she felt strong arms wrapped around her from behind. She immediately turned around and hugged him with all her body, burying her face in his chest. "Happy Anniversary" she whispered and looked at him with a fake smile.
He answered: „Happy anniversary, baby".
Hearing him call her baby made her think about the pregnancy, so she got emotional and started crying.
He rubbed her back and whispered: "Oh Love..." She pulled away after a few seconds, took his hand and led them both upstairs. Then she let go, went over to her pillow and got that important, life-changing, small package out. She whispered (because she knew her voice would crack if she'd talk) : „I know we said no presents, but you really need that" she cried even harder: „Oh god, sorry for looking like a mess and it's just.." her voice cracked again and Joe pulled her in his chest again and rubbed her back. She cracked a small smile and said: „Open it"

He smiled warmly and opened the package. As soon as he opened the box a huge smile formed on his face as he scooped her in the air and spun her around. She smiled and when he sat her down again she asked him surprised: „You... You're not mad? You won't leave me?" She smiled as he hugged her again. He whispered: „Why would I do that? I love you and of course I won't leave"

And then she realized that she caught herself a keeper. He'd seen her at her lowest and still he didn't pressure her to speak. He was gonna raise this baby with his beautiful girl together.

OMG!! I can't believe it's been two years already!!! #Jaylor is the freaking best!!!
