I got a text from my friend Sapphire, well that's her nickname, I've known her since year three, we tell each other everything
" Mephilies is on his way here now " Shadow stated as he took a sip from the bottle of beer Rouge had given him, right now she was talking on the phone
" great!" Amy smiled
" uh huh, I'll see you tomorrow Hun " Rouge said as she hung up
" who was that?" Knuckles asked
" my newest employee!" Rouge smiled, wait Sapphire said she applied for a job at a bar in this area, I wonder
After a few minutes of talking in the closed bar, Mephilies walked in, Shadow nodded towards him
" hey everyone " he said calmly, before I could say anything my phone beeped, I took out my phone and saw it was from Sonic
'Hey Marshmallow!' She has always called me that as a joke, I admit I do look like a marshmallow
'Hi Sapphire, so how did it go with Mephilies?' I replied
'He fell for the oh so innocent and heart broken daughter he left behind act, so everything's according to plan so far' she answered
'Remember to be careful please Sonic, oh and quick question, what bar did you apply for?' I asked
'Club Rouge, I'll explain more once you get ya butt over here!, I'll see you soon' She texted
'Ok bye!' I chuckled as I sent the message, I put my phone away once she sent the address
" earth to Silver " Knuckles was waving his hand in my face, I blinked a few times
" what?" I asked acting nieve
" well Blaze asked who were you texting " Mephilies stated
" a friend " I answered, they all rose a brow, but they shrugged it off, they have no idea what's going on
" I have to get home, it's pretty late " I pretend to yawn, they nodded
" bye Silver " Amy waved
" I'll come and make sure you get home " Blaze stated, I inwardly groaned, it's not like I hate her, but they all think I can't defend myself
" I'll be fine " I smiled
" you sure?" She frowned, I nodded still smiling, she gave me an unsure look before nodding with a sigh
I walked out the entrance with a wave, when I was a good distance away I used my telekinesis and floated off the ground, they knew I had this, but they think I can't use it properly
I pulled out my phone and looked at the address and then zoomed off above the buildings and traffic, it's crazy that there's traffic at night
About twenty minutes later I reached my destination, I knocked on the door and I was pulled inside and tackled by Sonic
I started laughing as she hugged me, I hugged back
" so care to explain?" I asked, she nodded and took me to the lounge room and activated a small device that was camouflaged as an earring
" ok, so my mission is to infiltrate G.U.N and take the top secret files in the Commander's office " She started
"And why?" I asked
" I don't know, but the boss wants this done, the quicker I get this done the quicker I can leave " She answered
" and what about you Dad?" I stated looking her in the eyes, she seemed to pause
"...I don't need him anymore, I can do everything he can, he left me and never kept a single promise he made me " She stated darkly, I knew not to push the subject further
" I know where the bar your going to be working at is " I chuckled at her reaction
" really?" She asked
" yeah, I just came from there, Mephilies is there drinking with a couple of his friends " I smirked, she huffed and nodded
" ok, just in case things get ugly, I need only the basic information on them " Sonic stated, I nodded, me and her both know what could go wrong
And that she only needs the vital information, like name, age, powers/abilities, ect. That's all she needs
" sure, but I'm guessing you want to know more about your dad huh?" I asked with a sigh, I saw her hesitate, but she shook her head
" no, only the basic and important information " Sonic said quietly
" can I stay the night, I don't feel like 'flying' home " I chuckled as she huffed, when we were kids she asked how I was able to fly, I ended up telling her I was floating, we joke around with it
She picked her tongue out at me
" sure you can stay the night, because you can help me set everything up, and give me that information " She smiled at me, I smiled back and nodded
" well what are we waiting for " I grinned, she rolled her eyes and dragged me upstairs into a room with boxes, I just chuckled, she still is a kid inside but an adult on the outside
