It was chilly winter night. You could see the ice covering the windows to the point where people were to think the window were made out of ice. Soft breezes of winds brushed against her face as she sat on her desk. The room was dark, having the brightness from her laptop her only light source. Krissy enjoyed these small moments. The chilly air, the whistle of the wind. Although she knew that these moments were to be ruin due to her roommate for not capable of ever being sober.

"Finally, some peace and quiet-"

A loud bang was heard from the other side of the wall, followed by the sound of a person crashing. She whipped around to see the door slowly creaking opening. She groaned in annoyance, knowing who was entering the room.

A girl with black hair stood in front of the door."GUESS WHOS BACK, BACK, BACK  AGAIN, KATE IS BACK, BACK AGAIN", she yelled, not caring if she woke up the neighbors.

"Oh god, not again," said the Krissy sigh, as she glared at the never sober girl.

Kate walk a few steps before stumbling onto the ground. "Oh sweet lord you reek of alcohol , take a goddamn shower", Krissy said, covering her nose with her hands, "JEEZ what were you doin out there?".

"WoUldn't yOu LiKe to kNoW," Kate slurred as she looked at her with a drunk expression on her face. Krissy face palmed her self groaning in frustration, "Why do you always have to drink to the point where you cause the whole room to smell like your stench?"

"Now go take a shower and take care of yourself, Jesus it's like fucking babysitting a goddamn child."

"OkAy", Kate said, waltzing out of the room.

Krissy sighed, "What's so good about drinking anyways", she mumble, ruffling through her wavy blonde hair.

---------------------

Kate had slumped as she walked drunkenly down the hallway and into the bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror, her hair in a now-messy ponytail, her face looks as if she was sick. And at this point she felt terrible.

She slide of her jacket, throwing it on the ground as she undressed. Kate turn on the shower, letting the hot boiling water relax her tensed body.Kate now finally coming to as close to sober as she can get. She signed in relaxation and had let the water wash the terrible memories from earlier that day .

1 hour later......

Kate ruffled her hair with a towel, drying it off before leaving the bathroom. Kate at this point felt clean and refreshed. She check her phone, remembering what she forgot to tell Krissy earlier.

She hesitated, knowing that Krissy wouldn't be happy to see her, she knocked on the door. Kate heard of the rumors and wanted to see it for herself, of course she wouldn't go back there all on her own, after all going to a ghost town sounds like a serious yet fun experience.

She opened the door hoping for her blonde friend to join her. "Finally sober up", Krissy said, looking at the girl. "Uh, yeah sorry for earlier, I must have drunken too much at the bar", Kate said scratching the back of her head, "but anyways, I have a quick question for you". Krissy raised her eyebrow, "and that question is?".

"You wanna go hunt ghosts with me?"
