because roses are roses. they are pretty and all but its so.. red. they seem so perfect, even its thorns. i can't actually put it into words. but sunflowers, they're different. it's yellow and it's huge. they might not be always pretty. it may lose a petal or two. but the energy they give off would still radiate within me. they're bright and spreads positivity. whenever i see it, i just.. smile.
i think sunflowers are overrated nowadays. but i don't think people actually appreciate its beauty. they only say they like it because its popular.
don't worry love, you'll still be the only one i know who has a deep understanding about flowers, specially sunflowers.
