My first instinct was to chase after him so I did, not bothering to tell the Hyerim or the others where I was going.

I saw him enter one of the small dance studios and I followed him in.

His back was to me as he leant on the mirror, his forehead pressed against the glass. His shoulders were shaking and his hands were covering his face.

"Minho?" I asked tentatively.

He froze.

"Minho, what's wrong?" I asked, walking to him. I put my hand on his shoulder. "Please tell me."

Slowly, he lowered his hands and turned his head to me.

I gasped.

His cheeks were red and tear stained, his eyes puffy from crying. A single tear had caught on his long eyelashes. It fell when he blinked, trailing down his cheekbone and dripping off his chin. He was beautiful even when crying.

"What happened?" I whispered, as though speaking to loud would break him or cause him to cry again.

"I got eliminated, Mijin," he said, his hoarse voice making it sounds more like a croak. "I've been kicked out of Stray Kids."

"Oh, Minho." I threw my arms around his shoulders and held him tightly. Maybe if I held him like this for long enough I'd squeeze the sadness out of him.
