Slime Monster

"Wake up Musa, we will be watching the boys in their dragon training." Flora came in and sat on my bed and shook me gently. I groan, I didn't want to get up. "What time is it?" I ask in a sleepy tone, "It is 8:26, you stayed up last night didn't you?" Flora nudges me, I nod. "I hung out with Riven, we caught up a bit." I sit up and rub my eyes. I feel bad for leaving him alone the way I did last night.

"Do I see you getting close to him again?" Flora hugs me with joy. "We are just friends or acquaintances Flora." I hug her back and she giggles. "Oh, and waffles is today's breakfast with iced coffee so get up and eat right now," Flora smiles and walks out of my small room. I stood up and brushed my teeth, showered and let my hair down and wore casual blue jeans and a pink top. I walk into the kitchen and see the Winx eating, I grab a plate and served some coffee and sat down with them.

"What will we do today?" I asked as I munch into the food. "Well we are planning to see the boys with their dragons at 9 then after that going to lunch and mall. The boys get out early today so we get a day with them." Bloom gets excited as she drank some coffee.

"You were out with riven!" Stella shrieks with joy always. "Is he your boyfriend again?" Tecna asked. I feel my cheeks burn, do they really think after everything I can just forgive him in one night?

"Girls! We only hung out just to catch up, and for your information, we are just friends." I groan annoyed, nosy people. But then again, just being stuck in a dorm some gossip is interesting.

"Girls its almost time to go! Come on Musa lets go!" Stella panics, she cannot be late to see her honey, we all ran to the stadium and convened down in the front.

"Boys and girls today is a different day!" Professor Codatorta announces and the boys walked up next to us. "Today I will be testing your teamwork with the Fairies. Poladium and I made a slime monster, you all have to defeat it. And remember, only teamwork can hurt it!" He said, Poladium cast a spell from a book and the monster grew from the floor, green and squishy.

"MAGIC WINX! ONYRIX!" Bloom said and we started to transform. I did my usual spins and and twists and formed my wings. To be honest I want a new transformation. "Stella, Musa, and Flora go on the left, we will take the right," Bloom said and we flew up in position.

 The green slime monster shot slime balls towards us but we kept shifting side to side and duck them. I shot my new spells and nothing affects him. "He seems to be absorbing our spells." Stella says as she is defeated.

"Yeah, it seems to be that way. Harmonic attack!" I shout but he only threw slime at my wings. I plummet down to the ground. My back hits the floor and I feel the air in my lungs escape quickly. My magic only protects me from broken bones but not this pain. My vision blurs and I shriek as I try to get oxygen back into my system.

"Musa!" Riven rushes next to me and gently lifts my back from the floor and helps me up. Believe it or not, I needed my own specialist because the other boys only protect their girls. Glad to know Riven is there to protect me, even if we are just friends. "Your wings, they're full of slime, can you flutter it off?" He asks, I manage to distract myself from the dizzy spell and clench my fists to use my remaining strength to flutter my wings, but it did seem to do much. He grabbed my hand and rushes me away from the field to hide.

"Hey Musa, I can help!" I hear a different boy say, I look at his face, Its Jared. He is more handsome than ever. He grabbed his sword and sliced off the slime gently. I float in the air as my wings are now free!

"Thank you Jared." I blew a kiss and flew back into action, I heard a groan from Riven, is he jealous? I ignore it and fly next to the Winx.

"Teamwork can defeat it. How can we show teamwork in a stadium?" Flora asks as the boys distract the annoying slime.

"Hmm. Maybe if we converge?" I brainstorm. "No, we need the boys teamwork too." Bloom answered, she was right.

"I got it!" Aisha exclaimed. We all look at her, "We will do a convergence spell but we will all surround it, and a specialist between each one of us, and once we cast it the boys rush to it and slice it." We all agree and Bloom flew to sky to let him know of the plan. The boys got in position with us.

"Magic Winx convergence!" We said in unison. "Musical arrow!" I said as we went down and cast our convergence spell. Once we cast the spell the boys flew right into the monster and slicing it. The slime monster blinded us with a bright light and slime flew everywhere.

we flew to the ground along with the boys. "Congratulations, you all finished quicker than we anticipated, you may now be released for the day," Codatorta smirks impressed and walked away. "Never underestimate the Winx!" Stella chuckles in victory.

---In Magix---

 "Riven why are you so quiet?" I ask while I was shopping in one of the stores, "Is it because of Jared, come on he has a girlfriend, the single one would be me, if his girlfriend saw she would definitely be the jealous one."

"That's only part of it... I didn't protect you Musa... Even if we are just friends I will still protect you." He sounds upset. I feel bad for him, he really is trying, he smiles more and laughs more and is actually kinder, well not so much but better than before.

"Riven, even I didn't know you could slice slime off my wings, you took us away from that monster, trust me, when you were gone no one would help me, I feared of falling out of the sky, or  being hit by magic and going unconscious because I didn't feel safe majority of the time. I thank you for being honest, and I thank you for comforting me when I fell." I said and hugged him, he squeezed me. He was pretty cute. I felt more muscle this time, Woah.

"Thank you Musa, I hope one day we can be better than we ever have been. We just need time to heal what I have done, now its time to go eat pizza, Sky just sent me a text." Riven smiles and held my cheek for a moment. I grabbed a red dress I liked and we went to the cashier. As I was pulling out my card Riven paid before I could react. After that, he grabbed my arm and pulled me to the outside of the store. I feel embarrassed, he is just a friend.

"Why did you pay?" I ask. "Its a gift from me to you." He winked, what a cheesy man.

"There you guys are! We ordered already!" Stella exclaimed and we sat in the two open seats they had for us.

----Before riven and Musa arrived----

"Two supreme and one cheese please," Sky ordered for the group as they went to go sit. The girls left two seats open for Musa and Riven for when they arrived. Sky arrived at the table and sat. "Riven has been cute to Musa lately hasn't he?" Stella said excited, she loved seeing Musa actually happy. "Riven hugged us once he arrived back, he seemed so different, majority of his negativity seemed to be washed away," Helia said. "Riven hugged you guys?" Tecna asked. The boys nodded. "I will admit, he does have better energy, but his prankster side is still there." Timmy lifted his glasses with his finger, everyone laughed at that.

"I promise you guys Musa will fall for him in no time." Stella winked. "Stella, Musa already loves him, she just needs time to let his arrival sink in. She was hurt without him, her magic wasn't the same, so please Stella, don't pressure her with your boy talk." Flora said, Everyone agreed with Flora, Musa needed time to let everything sink in.

----After Musa and Riven arrive----

Riven and I sat in the two seats that were open for us in the big round table. The pizza guy placed three pizza's in front of us and we began to eat. "Supreme, my favorite!" I say excited

"This lunch is special dedicated for you Musa." Sky started, "We are sorry we didn't protect you while Riven was gone, we failed our buddy in not protecting his girl. Musa you are a very dear friend of us specialists and your Winx, we are sorry we weren't there for you when you needed it." I was surprised, I didn't think they even noticed it. "Sky, I thank you, and don't worry about me, I am a strong woman and I can protect myself. I appreciate your kind words."
