I Can't Remember?!?!

Nicole's pov

I wake up to find that I am outside and it is dark out. I try to get up but when I lean forward I get cold. I look over and see Jacob staring at me like I just woke him up. "Hey bout time you woke up. I thought you would stay asleep until I woke you up." "How long was I asleep in your shoulder exactly." I hope I wasn't doing anything. "I mean like you were asleep for about five hour's. But hey I was going to let you sleep." " I really am sorry I didn't mean to fall asleep on your shoulder." "It's all right I really didn't mind." I lean back against the tree and shivered. I had forgotten to pack a coat when I was trying to leave home. I feel something being placed on my shoulders. I look to see Jacob putting his green plaid jacket on my shoulders. I look at him and look away with a light blush on my face. "Thank you foe the jacket, and thanks for tonight; at least I'm not being asked questions, like what your brothers." I lean my head on his shoulder and I head his heart racing. "Your welcome, and I just thought that you didn't need to be pestered with so many questions. And I hope you don't mind me asking,but I would just like to know who were those people chasing you the day I "saved" you." I start to feel nervous but I calm down enough to answer him "They were part of the search party. Where am I anyway, I was heading to Oklahoma but I already know that I didn't make it." "You are in California. Why do you have family in Oklahoma." I realize that I am starting to fall asleep on his shoulder again. "No, I have friends there." I say as I drift off to sleep.

Jacob's pov

I heard her breathing start to slow. I look at her face. She  looks so innocent while she's sleeping. I put my arm around her shoulders and drift off to sleep. While I sleep I feel her start to squirm and I wake up to heat her start talking, then she starts screaming someone's name. "Keith!!!" I grab her arms and try to wake her up. "Hey Nicole wake up its all right." I see her eyes open and her breathing starts to slow. "It's all right it was just a dream." She looks at me and then looks at the ground. She leans her head against the tree and watches the stars. I look over and she is asleep again. 'Man, she must be very tired.' I thought. I fall asleep when I knew for sure she was asleep.

Nicole's pov

I wake up to the sun shining in my eyes. I try to get up but I feel a heavy thing around my shoulders. I look over and see Jacob's arm around my shoulders. I move his arm and get up and walks farther into the woods. A branch snaps to my right, and when I look over I see Keith looking at me with a hurt expression. I wall towards him and stop when I was two feet away. "What are you doing here Keith. What's wrong." He pulls out a thin blade out of its sheath and starts to come at me with it. I opened my wings and fly off as fast as I could. He throws the dagger and it clips my left wing. I fall out of the air and onto a rocky surface. I start to back up when he landed right in front of me and then I go to step back again, I didn't feel any ground beneath my foot. I look back and see that I made it to the end of the cliff I was on. Before he could take another step towards me I see a huge wolf and know that it was Jacob. Keith turns around and his eyes grow wide. He pulls out another dagger and slices the air with it. Jacob jumps and lands on Keith. The ground starts to shake, and I was walking backwards and Jacob looks up to see me fall off the cliff.

Keith's pov

I see Nicole go over the cliff and I push the wolf off of me and dive over the edge after Nicole. I reach and grab her hand and yank her upwards and wrap my arms around her wast. I opened my wing all the way and pull up in the direction of home. I look to where the wolf was, but her wasn't there. I make it back home with Nicole trying to get out of my grip. I put her on the ground and see her father turn around. "Where did you find her?" Be asks me while motioning the guards forward. They grab her arms as she fights to get out of there grasp. "I found her in the woods last night, but I couldn't retrieve her because she was asleep with a human sitting next to her. I've been watching her and I saw my opportunity to retrieve her. I almost had her until the human in the form of a wolf got in the way. Luckily I got to her before she hit the ground and died." Be nods at me and looks at Nicole with disappointment. "Why do you have to be so immature when it comes to being promoted and not getting your way. Just why do you have to act like a child." I'd asked her with hurt in his voice.

Nicole's pov

I stand there while my father yells at me because I was acting like a child. I struggle to get out of the guards grip and I felt it loosen when I heard my father say that when hesitations dies I am supposed to take over. I took the opportunity of them being distracted and I wiggled out of their grip and run towards the door. I start to hear someone following me. I look back and see that it was Keith. I opened my wings and try to get off the ground. I get in the air and I head down back to Jacob's house without getting caught. I make it out and I head back to the cliff and see Jacob and his brothers there. I land in front and fall to my knees just to feel someone step on my back pinning me to the ground. I hear Jacob and his brothers start to stir. I hear a sword come out of its sheath and be pit in between my shoulder blades. It was being forced into my skin. The weight was off of my back I turn onto my back and sit up and try to stand with some unexpected he'll I turn around when I am on my feet and see Mark nod at me and join the fight. I turn and see that they're needing some help because they were doing good but her they had more wounds then Keith did. I pull out what ever weapon and join the fight. I push James out of the fight, then I push Mark and Jacob out of the fight 'which was kind of difficult since they're were in werewolf form. So imagine pushing a horse off of you when it's laying down.' and then I fight by myself against Keith. I send my shurikens back into the others world and brought out two swords. I spin and I jump into the air and land behind him. I put some blade against his throat and the other pointed at his back. "Well you win. Now what are you going to do to me huh?" He said with an angry tone. "Why are you trying to kill me Keith. But I know you wouldn't be able to do it." "Well I was told that I was to bring you back dead or alive. But either way I didn't know that you would beat me. I guess you have gotten stronger." "Do you know him Nicole." Mark asks me with a tone I can't place. "Yes I do, you could say I work with him. He is one of the generals besides me. And also a good warrior but not good enough." " Well what is his name so we have something to call him by." "His name is Keith and I would really watch what your saying when he is around because he finds some things offensive and he has anger issues." "I do not!!!" He  literally screams at me. Well lets get him to the house and I'm pretty sure everyone is tired." I hear Jacob say as we all head back to the house. The last thing I remember was making it home and flopping down on my bed before sleep took over.
