Sorry it's been taking so long to update. I've just had the worst writers block lately. It's most likely due to school but I'm not sure.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy the chapter.. it took forever to write for no reason. Thank you for continuing to read this book!

The ride back to the Flynn's from the airport was everything but quiet. I forgot how eventful everything was when Noah was around. There was never a dull moment.

Upon our arrival home, or a block away from the house, Noah rubbed the top of my head with his knuckles. I smiled at him. Just looking at him makes me feel so happy and warm.

We had to be dropped off so far because June had to pick up Noah's dad from work. Apparently it was a surprise visit from Noah for his dad.

Noah's eyes stayed on mine as we walked to the house. I ran closer to him and wrapped my arms around his waist. He crouched over to kiss my head. I snuggled my head into his body.

"Ew, gross," Lee remarked from behind us.

I softly chuckled, pulling away from Noah. I grasped onto his hand while turning around to Lee. We started to walk again.

"So, has anyone heard about any parties?" I asked Noah and Lee. Immediately, Noah seemed angry at my question.

"No, and I don't think we should go even if there was a party," Noah said. I gave him a look.

"Come on, Noah. You're the one that said you were the talk of the town and we would be getting invited to multiple parties," I pouted.

"Well maybe it's a good thing we haven't been invited anywhere," he suggested, "It just means no one knows I'm home."

"Why is that a good thing? I know everyone misses you," I told him.

"Because everyone here is obsessed with him just because he's hot," Lee joked. Noah punched him in the arm.

"What was that for?" Lee asked while he held onto his arm. Me and Noah both ignored him.

"We're going to a party," I told him, "I don't care what you say."

I crossed my arms, turned away from him and walked away from him. I heard him chuckle behind me. I smiled.

As I walked to the house, I frowned. I uncrossed my arms. What if this was fake? What if him being so loving was an act just to make me think he didn't cheat or something. I shook the thought as fast as I could.

I tried to not care because I didn't know if he cheated or not. I couldn't know unless I talked to him about it, but I didn't really want to. I was scared he'd be angry. What would happen if he didn't cheat and I suspected it? He'd hate me.

But what if he did cheat? What if it was someone way hotter than me? An athlete, or something, that looked like a model? What if they're still together?

I felt Lee's arm wrap around my shoulder, "Hey—uh—Shelly, it is very obvious you are panicking again. Everything is okay. Noah's here, and you guys are going to have a great time."

I looked behind us. Noah wasn't far, but if I whispered maybe he wouldn't be able to hear.

"Lee, I'm just scared he cheated. What you did on that beach keeps replaying in my head. Technically, it's your fault," I told him. He scoffed.

"Okay, well, I was half kidding on the beach," he admitted. I raised a brow.

"What do you mean?" I asked.
