Perseus

"I don't understand why we're doing this." I stated indifferently.

Loki rolled his eyes, coming to stand beside me. He had his best clothes on, some Asgardian suit, I'm not sure exactly what it was, but it did make him look quite handsome. He wrapped his arm around my side and pulled me softly in to kiss my cheek, before parting and glancing at the calm waters before us.

"You've met my mother, so it's time I officially meet your father." He replied with the as a matter of fact tone.

I gave him a pointed look,"You've already met my father."

He raised his eyebrow,"Officially?"

"Yes." I dead panned.

He gave me a wry smile,"Let's go, Perseus."

I glared at him, grabbing his hand roughly and tugging him into the welcoming waves. They immediately responded to my will, pushing us past the reefs and to the quickest current, towards my father's palace. Even from a miles distance, I could see my elder brother who was awaiting our arrival anxiously.

"Triton." I greeted when we were within speaking range.

Triton's lips curled into a snide smile,"Little brother, why ever have you decided to ruin Atlantis with your presence?"

I rolled my eyes, nudging Loki next to me,"This baboon wanted to have an audience with father."

"Baboon? I think you meant boyfriend." Loki protested.

My brothers eyes twinkled in amusement,"Then let us show him what exactly what he's getting himself into."

I smirked,"Let us."

Together we led Loki through the palace, giving him a personal tour. I noticed several different occupants of the underwater city stop to watch us. Many of them were two tailed, but barely one less of them were one tailed. I forgot which tail meant what, but I think the two tails were dominant and the one tail was submissive.

Either way, the townsfolk were interested in the son of Poseidon and his lover swimming aimlessly around with the heir of their king. After awhile, Lady Amphitrite herded Loki away to ready him for a proper feast of the Sea god. I watched them leave, Loki glancing back at me with a mischievous smirk.

I smiled back at him encouragingly because I knew his emotions on the outside didn't match what was on the inside. I could see his uncertainty through the precious green of his eyes. Once he was gone though, the smug look on Triton's face was very much real, wiping the expression off of my face.

I scowled at him,"What?"

The grin that appeared on his face mirrored the look of a shark,"Father wishes to converse with you before dinner. I'm sure it will be very entertaining."

Before I could ask what he meant, I was dragged through the castle until I stood inside my father's personal study. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion when I saw someone beside my father, someone who I haven't met before. Triton closed the door behind us, making me feel a bit anxious.

Still, I stood to attention, clasping my hands behind my back, and awaiting the mission. My black clothing was perfectly layered on my body with my gun and sword tucked inside their sheaths. I had wiped my face void of emotion as I felt the tension of the situation.

I inclined my head,"Father."

My dad smiled at me,"Hello, Percy."

I pursed my lips at the name,"Perseus, if you will."
