"Hi ,how are you doing malika?"

Yes he knows my name ,this isn't our first meeting , he doesn't know I'm married, but something is pulling me close to him ,no strings attached, I just want to be friends .

"I'm fine thank you." I said smiling .

"Good , so when are you closing today? I'm thinking ...maybe we can hang out."

Hang out ! That seems like a good idea, my subconscious kept pushing me to say I'm married , but my mouth won't get me do that .

In some way he reminds me of Abdulhakim who I pretend not to miss, but this man right here brings old sweet memories.

"Amm...okay, I'll be off by five in the evening today ."

"Five in the evening ,I'll be here at exactly five ." he said grinning.

I've been trying not get myself think he's handsome, with macho arms , a pointed nose that looks like a pen was fixed there, olive skin , a height one will call average and...I almost said I like his smile . key word almost.

"Okay, I'll be waiting ." I boomed.

And he left with a smile .

He comes every now and then , he takes Me out around town after six months of him being at my doorstep every morning taking to my work place , and being at my work place at five to take me back home .

I've been thinking of telling him I'm married , but I'm happy in his company, I mean all the text messages and calls if I tell him I'm married as the gentle Man that he is ,he'll leave and I'll be alone again .

The buzzing of my phone distracted my thought , just as jabir's Dad's number appears on the screen .

"Hello." I mouth .

"Meet me in my office now." he chirped in .

"Whoa!"   I hope all is well , he sounds so angry .

I walked as fast as I can taking my steps in two trying not to miss my steps .

I got to the office and he was standing facing the window and backing me.

"Assalamualaikum."  I greeted .

"Wa'alaikumussalam. have a seat."

I obliged .

"Malika do you know that you're still married ?" He questioned out of no where.

"Of course ,I'm still married ." I retorted.

"Good ." he mouth .

"For the past six months I've been watching you and everything you do , I thought it was casual and that you know the right things to do , but I know better ."

"I'm sorry sir,but I don't get you well" I try to pretend to not know what he's talking about .

"Who is that man you're seeing?"

He caught me by surprise, I've never thought of him seeing me .

"He's a friend ."

"A friend ?"  he asked furiously .

"so married women are allowed to have male company apart from there husband's and relatives ?  did your religion not teach you that?"

He's yelling aloud now , I wish he brings his voice down, so no body gets to here .

"I'm sorry , its a mistake ,it won't happen again."

"It better not , if you don't want to see the other side of me." he spoke with a scowl on.
