Eliza stared at the letters she had found, these were unlike the others, oh no these were hidden away under the floor. She wanted to find every letter, she wanted to tell her, now unfortunately dead, husband's story.

She knew about everything, even about the affair I mean he published it for goods sake! But this had completely shocked her like nothing before, the letters were to his "enemy" Thomas Jefferson, they were like the letters he sent her! The letters that left her helpless, oh these were... These letters, these words and sentences, they could make the most broken heart healed in matter of seconds.

Tears were falling like waterfalls, staining the letters but she didn't care, she was reading, it hurt but she was reading. And one just stuck out, it was the truth, the truth she didn't think was possible. Maria never even met Alexander...

Okay so there's the prologue! This will obviously be an AU since this will change so much (not too much) but I hope you like it! I'm not making this an modern AU either cuz I'm tired of those. I'll be updating every Monday and Friday with this Prologue being an exception 😂
