"You ready?" I asked.

"I think so," Erik said. "You?"

"I'm kinda nervous, these are the first people who I've talked to at school, I don't know if they'll like me." I looked down and fiddled with my fingers.

His hand seemed to snake between mind, making my shift my gaze up to him again. "Don't worry Y/n, I know you'll do great," He grinned. "I'm always here for you too."

I sent him a warm smile and nodded. "Okay lets go." He opened the car door next to him and got out, then holding it for me, making me give him large smile at the politeness. "Thank you."

"No problem madam," He said returning the smile.

"And thank you Happy," I called to the man in the front seat, who funnily enough was grumpy 99% of the time. However he seemed quite surprised about my thankfulness but nonetheless was very kind and smiley back.

"No problem Y/n, I hope you two have a nice time. Please call me when you're ready to leave," He smiled and waved goodbye.

We both walked up the stairs to the large house, not as big as the avengers facility of course, with the music audible even from where we were. Erik's has seemed to grab mine, causing me to glance over to see him chuckling, at my nervousness probably.

When I walked inside, I noticed how crowded it was immediately so my eyes started to search for Cameron or Thomas or anyone that I actually knew.

"Y/n!" I heard behind me, I turned around to thankfully see Thomas and Cameron, looking quite happy to see me.

"Hey guys! This is Erik, Erik this is Cameron and this is Thomas."

"Oh yeah we met at school on your first day. It's really weird, Y/n keeps denying your relationship, what's up with that?" Thomas joked.

"Yeah Y/n, what's up with that?" Erik joined in, turning in my direction and trying not to laugh.

"Oh my god," I mumbled, rolling my eyes and shaking my head.

All three of them burst out laughing. "Lets go find the group, I think they're in the games room," Cameron chuckled.

"Oh wait, do you know where Peter and his friends are?" I asked, looking around me.

"He's definitely here, but I'm not sure where, sorry," Cameron replied

"I should probably go find them, do you mind Erik?" I asked. "I'll be like two minutes."

He shook his head and smiled. "Don't worry, I'll get to know everyone."

I nodded and grinned back, before turning to go find Peter and his friends, Ned and MJ. I'd grown quite close to them over the past few weeks, I thought that Peter would feel more of a baby sitter, but I really enjoyed hanging out with him.

Ned was a kind and sweet guy, that loved Star Wars, just like Pete. I had even found out that Ned knew about Peter's abilities, however Mj did not, another friend of Peter's. Mj seemed quite shut off to me, though Peter said that was quite normal, she must have suspected something. It's probably because I just turned up and immediately started talking to Peter. However even when she saw the fresh blood on my knuckles or when I gripped my hands against the table in frustration and Peter trying to calm me down, she didn't ask questions. Which I am very thankful for, but nonetheless I do wish she would talk to me.

"Guys!" I yelled, spotting the three of them together, looking lost.

"Y/n!" Peter and Ned called back. Michelle gave a smile, slightly forced but I could tell I was slowly getting into her good books. "What's up?" Ned asked.

"Oh well, I was um wondering if you three wanted to join me and Erik and um some of my friends," I stuttered.

"Yeah sure!" Ned and Peter replies and Mj nodded so we headed over to my group of friends.

When we got there, I could see Erik chatting with everyone, they sounded like they were laughing too, which made me grin. I came over and sat next to Erik, on one of the four couches, facing each other, perfect for this kind of event. He put his arm over the couch, just behind my head, and looked over to me, giving me a warm smile.

"Right, does anyone want to do shots?" Dylan asked.

Quite a few people put up their hand, including me and Erik, however Peter, Ned and Mj didn't. I guess they weren't the drinking types.

"Pussys," Dylan remarked. I sent him a glare.

Dylan came back to the room a few minutes later, accompanied by Thomas, with a crate of beer, 3 bottles of spirits and some shot glasses balanced carefully on top of the crate, which they all placed on the table in the middle.

"Okay," Dylan huffed. "So a few people said they didn't want any shots, so I brought beer if you want it." He looked over to me and I smiled, mouthing the words "thank you." He nodded and smiled back.

Dylan's and Thomas poured a large amount of shots and dotted them around the table.

"I've just realised, I'm not going to get drunk this easily," I whispered to Erik. I frowned slightly but he spoke up.

"Its all good, Tony told me theirs a stash of alcohol that's Asgardian. It's supposedly for gods, like Thor, so I'm guessing it's his." He whispered back.

"Great then, we can have a little party at home," I giggled. I picked up two shot glasses from the table but Erik went to grab one, I pulled it back slightly and protested. "These are mine."

He laughed, "I'm so sorry your highness." He went to grab on of his own, while I rolled my eyes at his comment. I took one shot but he stopped me taking the second. "Hey, let me catch up," he chuckled.

We clinked the glasses together and took them while laughing slightly.
