Sorry in advance, all my content is sucking rn :/
Last period Chemistry a few days later...
"Hey Y/n." I heard behind me. I put down the pen I was writing with and turned a little to find where the voice was. I saw Cameron without his signature smirk, more of a warm smile, a genuine smile.
"Oh hi." I smiled back, removing my glasses from my face. "What's up?"
"I just wanted to see what you're up to."
"I'll go talk to Ned." Peter said, getting up from his seat next to me. "But I'll see you after school, k?"
"Yeah, thanks Pete." I gave a warm smile back and he returned it, patting me on the shoulder and eventually going over to Ned and Michelle's table.
"My groups kind of annoying and you look a little bored so maybe we could chat I dunno." He chuckled, sitting on Peter's seat.
"Oh why thank you." I emphasised, while we both laughed a little. "Why's you're group so annoying?"
"It's cause Dylan said the girls could join, and they're just bugging me. They're being all giggly and trying to flirt." He said while looking at the group at the back of the room of his group and some girls.
"Flirting bugs you huh?" I smirked, raising my brows.
"No, I do not mind flirting! Just not from them!" He protested. I raised my eyebrows again making him laugh. "I like girls for your information." He said. I could tell he was telling the truth, but maybe he had his eye on someone else.
"So you don't want them to flirt... maybe you like someone?" I suggested.
"Yeah maybe..." He nodded loosely. He looked to be in a mesmerised gaze, just enjoying the view that was in front of him.
Shit, I'm in front of him.
Honestly though, Cameron was definitely far from disgusting, the opposite in fact, I quite enjoyed looking at him too. He had black fluffy hair that seemed to curl in all the right ways. His face was dotted with golden freckles that continued all over his body and he had large eyebrows that fit perfectly with his complexion.
But goddammit those eyes.
They were lit up in the sun too. And have you ever seen brown eyes in the sun? You don't notice at first but 'brown' can no longer describe them. They were melted into golden rays, circling an eclipse.
I must have been looking into his orbs for at least 30 seconds but he didn't seem to fidget or looking into any other direction to try to avoid my gaze. He must have been looking into my eyes too.
After a minute I could see the smile on his face approaching slowly and him eventually biting his lip trying not to ruin the moment, but it just made me do the same. I couldn't help but grin, no matter how much I bit my lip, it just made his lips curl even more. He didn't resist this time though and neither did I, eventually making laughter burst out from both our lips.
"Hey love birds." Thomas chuckled, sitting down on one of the chairs opposite.
We both turned, calming down from the laughter. Cameron didn't seem bothered about the comment at all, so I did the same.
"Hey, what you two up to?" Tyler asked, coming over with Noah, both sitting opposite to us next to Thomas.
"The real question is what are you doing tomorrow?" Dylan asked, leaning on the table, smiling.
Cameron and me exchanged confused looks "What's happening tomorrow?" He asked, looking back to Dylan.
"My parents are away, so I'm having a party." He announced. "Bring who you want, just don't invite anyone weird." He chuckled.
"Oh yeah sure." Now exchanging smiles with Cameron. "Oh do you mind if I invite my friend from out of school?"
"How far out of school? He's not like 60 is he?" Tyler joked.
"He's 28." I mumbled, making the group erupt with laughter, wolf whistles and a few high fives and fist bumps my way. I looked over to Cameron, who was thankfully laughing too.
"Well your friend," Dylan started jokingly using air quotes "is welcome to come. And penis Parker." He rolled his eyes while he tried to force the name out.
"Well I'll be there then." I chuckled
Just then end of school bell rang. I quickly collected my things and put them away in my back pack while they waited for me to follow them to the back. They got their bags and slung them over their shoulders, eventually walking out the class and down the corridor, towards the lockers.
"Can I get your number? We've got a group chat I could add you too." Dylan said.
I nodded and got out my stupidly expensive phone that Tony had gotten me, which honestly I didn't know how to fully use. I pressed on, seeing the picture of me and Erik, making me instantly smile. It was only from about a week ago, we both got a little bored and went to Tony's garage to look at his car collection. We ended up doing a squatted squad pose in front of one of his fancy cars.
"Is that an Aston Martin??" Thomas questioned, very shocked at the photo.
"Are you thinking of the db5?" I asked, he nodded, looking quite interested. My car knowledge wasn't that extensive but I was born in 1919 so this I knew a thing or two. "I think it's a Ferrari." I answered, unlocking the phone to get my phone number for Dylan.
"What's a Ferrari??" Dylan turned around, slamming his locker closed.
"As in the Ferrari 250 California??" Thomas continued.
"Yeah, but it's not mine obviously." I added, awkwardly chuckling. Technically I was telling the truth though.
Dylan took my phone and gave the object a confused look, inspecting the thing, turning it around in all kinds of directions. "What phone is this??" He questioned. "It looks like an iPhone, but this definitely hasn't been released."
I just shrugged. He laughed at me, eventually putting my number in his phone and adding me to their group chat.
"I see you tomorrow mystery girl." He chuckled, leaving the locker area put the double doors.
Tyler, Noah and Cameron went together. "Bye y/n!" Cameron yelled back to me as he left the double doors like Dylan, followed by Tyler and Noah saying bye too.
"You waiting for someone?" Thomas asked.
"Not really." I chuckled.
"Why you waiting then?" He asked, laughing slightly.
"I'm just um... waiting for... the people to go..."
He just burst out laughing. "You are a mystery girl indeed, I'll see you tomorrow at Dyl's." He smiled.
***
"Do you want to do to a house party tomorrow?" I asked Erik, I'd just got back from school and he'd gone to change into something comfortable so we could watch a movie. He walked out of the wardrobe with some sweats and a t-shirt in his hand.
"Who's house?" He asked.
"My friend Dylan's." I smiled.
"You have a friend. That's a-"
"Erik, come on." I groaned.
"Okay." He laughed. "Do they know I'm not a teenager?"
"Yes." I smirked.
"Okay I'll come then." He smiled.
