There was a rapid knocking on my door. I ran towards the door and beat Madeline to it. I pulled open the door and saw Ashton standing there in a ripped Nirvana t-shirt with black skinny jeans and black boots. I grinned but slowly took it back. I really don't look as cool as Ashton. I look like a girl who just came back from a preppy boarding school.

"Hey, Ashton!" I said. "Come on in! I'm just going to go get dressed real quick."

"But you're already dressed, Wendy." He said as he came in and sat on the love seat.

"Just one second, Ash!" I ran back to my bedroom and passed Madeline on the way.

I closed my bedroom door and I went through my closet. Nothing looks as great as what Ashton is wearing. Madeline sort of has his style. I pulled open the door and I locked eyes with Ashton as I ran into her bedroom. Madeline was interrogating him. I closed her bedroom door and I went through her closet, throwing things that didn't appeal to me behind my shoulder.

The door opened and Ashton and Madeline popped their heads in. Madeline's eyebrows raised and I dropped the last thing that was in my hand.

"Um, Wendy. . .what the hell are you doing?" Madeline said through her teeth with a laugh. She raised her eyebrows and I turned back to her closet.

"I'm getting ready," I stated simply.

I saw her band t-shirt that she bought after dragging me to a Green Day concert. Madeline snatched the Green Day shirt from my hands and pushed me out of her bedroom. I slightly ran into Ashton, stepping on his foot.

"Oh God," I said covering my mouth with my hands. "I am so sorry."

He grimaced and smiled at me. "It's alright. I didn't even feel that."

I laughed and stuffed my hands in my skirt pockets.

"You look great!" Ashton motioned towards my outfit.

"Nah. You do! I love your style!" I grinned.

"You guys are going to miss your movie." Madeline groaned.

"You spoiled it!" Ashton said in mock anger.

"Oops," Madeline shrugged and walked back into her room. She closed the door and I heard it lock.

"So a movie?" I asked as Ashton and I walked towards the door.

He nodded. "Yes, but it's not one of those stupid movies."

"What are we going to see?"

Ashton opened the door for me and I stepped out into the cool outdoors. Ashton close the door and he grabbed my hand.

"The Breakfast Club." He smirked.

There's a throbbing pain in my head. It feels like a bullet went right through my brain.

I pull back from my laptop and I sigh. I need a break. Thinking and reliving me and Ashton's story is hurting. My phone has been buzzing nonstop. I've set alarms to go to sleep and every fifteen minutes it goes off.

This is the tenth time it went off.

I unlock my phone and I delete the alarms. I can't deal with those stupid alarms anymore. I stand up, stretch, and walk out of my room.

Michael was standing there with his hands shoved in his pockets. How did he get in? Did Madeline leave the door unlocked before she left for work?

"Michael," I say. I walk closer to him.
