Kageyama's pov
I've always preferred the cold over the heat. I just liked it more. The heat was all humid, sticky, and unpleasant to me. During the summer, I'll always avoid being outside, away from the blazing sun. But the cold felt amazing to me.
I mean, I wouldn't go out into the snow wearing only boxers of course. I don't love it THAT much. But it still feels nice..
Warm...
It was really warm right now. I would've complained about it by now, but it actually didn't feel bad. It felt quite comfortable. I guess it's okay to stay like this..
Wait.
I wearily peeled my eyes open and glanced around the room. Nothing seemed different. Why was the temperature so high then?
I shifted my gaze down and remembered. Ah, that's right. There's a boy sleeping with me. A boy who I'd just met yesterday. A boy who claims that he's a god.
I sighed in distress. Why couldn't that've been a dream? Why did any of it have to be real? I don't want to live with an annoying little brat.
I sat up, causing the boy to slip down my chest and spill onto my lap. He continued to snooze, undisturbed by my sudden actions. He didn't seem like he was waking up anytime soon.
I slid out from under him and laid him down carefully. I stood up and stretched, realizing that all the pain from yesterday had disappeared. But how..?
I had at least broken a few bones and I know there was some internal damage as well. It's not like it could've healed overnight by itself. That's physically impossible, especially without medical attention. So how?
Is it possible that Hinata is responsible for this?
I gazed over toward him as he still slept contently. I sat beside him and thought about it. Could what he'd said be true? Is he really a god? I mean, what else could explain the miraculous healing of my injuries?
The boy groaned and shifted closer to my body, trying to collect warmth. He rested his head on my lap and remained asleep. I chuckled softly and brushed his messy orange locks out of his face.
His cheeks were slightly flushed and his mouth was childishly parted. He had the body temperature of a kid and the physique of one too. I slightly blushed at the sight of him sleeping. I hated to admit it but he looked pretty cute.
"Uhgg..what am I saying? He's a minor and a guy! There's no way that would work out!"
"Why are you yelling so early in the morning..?" A voice emanated from my lap. I froze in shock. Did he hear what I was saying? He sat up and rubbed his eyes groggily. He stared off into space before he began to doze off.
"Oi", I shook his shoulders. He snapped awake and glared at me. He was obviously not a morning person. I let go and sighed.
"What do you want for breakfast?" I waited for him to respond but he only leaned against me and whined.
"I'm not ready for breakfast. I need more sleep.."
I scowled at him and glanced at the clock. He got nine hours of sleep. Shouldn't that be enough?
"You're fine, you got nine hours of sleep. Get up!" I began to push him but he continued to lay on me. This seems a lot like when we first met.
"But I was spending those hours healing you. It drains me a lot, so I want more sleep..", he cuddled against me. I widened my eyes and allowed him to snuggle with me. He..healed me?
