I was younger when I wrote these :/ So they're pretty rough.
It's crazy to see how much has and has not changed since. Unfortunately enough the last poem was dedicated to my grandmother who I was very close too, passed away in June 2018.

1. • We were the definition of love, then we lost it all. You had given up on us altogether for someone better, you say.
2. • We weren't a story anymore. We were each other's nightmares. The dark nightmares that would keep you up all night and day.
3. • When I look at you, I see everything. Everything I'm not and everything that I am. Everything pure and graceful. Everything, wonderful and perfect. I see the future through your eyes. I see the love and the joy. I also see the pain and the hurt. I love it all. I accept it all.
4. • You, of all people hurt me. The one who was suppose to care for me and love me. You just gave up on us, your family. For what? Quite. Peace. Now because of you, I can't trust and love normally again. I have to be self conscious now and maybe forever. I turned to cutting and crying. I believe everything you say, not knowing how to stop. Not knowing how to turn the world off and be happy just for a second. So, thank you soo much for that.
5. • Nothing's good enough. Nothing is well enough. I'm not smart enough, or bright enough for you. You tear me down with every glance. I'm the worst thing that happened to you, I get it. Just don't rub it in my face. Tell me you love me, even if it's fake because I don't care anymore. I don't care that I'm good enough. I only cared for one thing and you took that from me and broke it. You shattered my heart to pieces, right in front of me.
6. The scariest moment will be when you pass. I don't know what'd I'd do without you. You were there for me when I was a child. You taught me how to play cards and how to bake. You taught me that it's okay to put off homework to be with family. You wrote me letters. So here's mine to you, to keep up tradition.
Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, I love you and miss you, too. Don't ever leave me. Stay by my side, as I will for you. Even if you don't remember me anymore, I still remember you and our amazing memories together. All that you've taught me. I know you have to go, soon. And, I will miss you every day.
