Arriving at home it is now 10: 30 at night. I took a small detour hence why i'm back here so late.
Taking my shoes off on the matt beside the door. Me and shiki live in an apartment on one of the not pleasant sides of town. Some of us around here are good people..Honestly but lately there has been alot of death's and people just disappearing in general. I know your probably thinking somthing along the lines of
' Rebecca! what the hell are you doing out at 10:30 then? thats the worst time to be out. ' Yeah yeah I know, but honestly I really don't care. What are the chances of it being me? I mean I am not completely defence-less! Besides I'm sure they have some people trying to debunk the murders and kidnapping.
Walking further into our apartment I notice Shiki's wallet is on the table.. So that must mean he's home.
I hear his bedroom door open and shut, I move to go into my room but his voice stop's me.
''Rebecca. Why are you just now coming back? '' Turning around to face him, he has a glare on his face. ''S-shiki...I uhmm kinda took a tinsy tiny detour...Aha..'' He narrowed his eye's at the bag in my hands. ''What's that? '' I take a small peek at the bag and smile sheepishly.
'' I got Candi a gift...I know we don't get along and all but I still consider her my friend. After all we did kinda grow up together.'' I whispered.if you consider growing up together me and her competing for your attention. His eye's widened and I'm pretty sure i'm just seeing thing's but I think I saw Regret in his eye's but he masked it. ''Shiki. I uh...i'm going to bed. goodnight. ''
He called out...nothing romantic tho. Shame.
''Don't come back at a time like this Becca. I don't think I could bare the thought of you never returning here again...'' I tensed...I knew what he meant.. He don't like it when the Death word is used.
Same shiki. same. I went into my bedroom and Collasped on my bed and trying my best to fall into a peaceful slumber.
Ahh sweet dreams shiki.
~ Candi's party ~
Okay so it seems to me that the party has finally arrived. Boy i'm gonna get so drunk, I can't wait!
What? I'm a young girl, of course i'm gonna get drunk! It's my opportunity to make some friends, well I mean I do have a few friends. I'm not exactly sure if they are loyal to be completely honest with ya.
Sighing out I get dressed, What i'm wearing to the party today is a Black croptop and high wasted shorts. With some stockings. It's a cute look. I put my bathing suit on underneath just incase we plan to swim in candi's pool.
I decide to leave my blonde hair down, and grab candi's gift bag as i'm walking out of my room.
I see shiki has come out of his room as well, Ever since the incident shiki hasnt really talked to me, So You can probably imagine how shocked I was when he asked me if I was ready to go, I didn't think he would wanna walk with me.
''Close your mouth becca, you'll catch flies.'' He laughs and sends me a beaming smile.
''Well arent you in a good mood. '' I muttered while rolling my eye's.
Grabbing my purse and putting my cell phone in it, just in case. Which makes me wonder why the hell shiki even used the payphone that night?
Whatever.
''umm Shiki...'' I asked shyly...He don't say anything for a moment, and that kinda sends a bit of fear down my spine. '' Yeah?. '' I gulped and took a deep breath. '' I'm sorry for making you mad shiki. I hate the silent treatment.'' I stated, not giving him a chance to reply the door is yanked open and candi throws herself at Shiki.
I ignored the pain in my heart and kept my smile plastered on, gritting my teeth while I'm at it. Stupid. Who does she think she is throwing herself at him like that?
Oh right. She's his girlfriend.
