Kenzie's POV

I had just gotten home from the afternoon with Daniel.

and guess who was waiting for me at the door, my precious baby.

Hayes.

Don't get me wrong, he was pissed. But I just ignored it and continued walking.

"So you're just gonna leave and not tell me where u were going?" Hayes finally spoke up

"I went to the mall" I said very bluntly

"You went with him, didn't you?" Hayes looked at his fingers, when I said Hayes was my best friend, I meant it, which means he knows every little thing about me and how much I still adore Daniel, adore not love.

"I did Hayes" I said finally looking his way, and what stood in front of me was heartbreaking, he had the saddest face ever.

"Kenzie, how am I gonna be with u if u still love him?" He looks up making eye contact but quickly looking away.

"I don't love him baby, I love you, Daniel and I just have a strong and close friendship, if anything I adore him but surely don't love him, I'm beyond happy with you" I said making him make eye contact with me

"I love you too baby, but just tell me where you're going, I just wanna make sure you safe, I can't lose you" he said very soft and sweetly.

"Of course" I said as I pecked his lips.

"Why the mall tho?" Hayes said out of the blue

"Because he was helping me shop for one of the boys" I lied.

"Oh okay" Hayes said kissing my forehead

Daniel and I didn't shop for one of the boys...

We shopped for Hayes and Chloe.

Daniel helped me shop for Hayes and I helped Daniel shop for Chloe.

Daniel got Chloe a necklaces and I got Hayes a pair of shoes he's been dying to have.

I was tired, so after I put the bags away, I went upstairs with Hayes.

"Night baby" I said cuddling into his chest.

"Night babygirl" He said kissing my forehead.

With that I fell asleep.
