I woke up to my alarm going off, once again. I got up and went to my bathroom to get ready for school. I usually wear basically the same clothes for school..which is usually black jeans, a band tshirt, jacket, and converse. Which is what I wore! I was actually kinda looking foward to school so i could see Vince... which is weird.. because I hate school.. and alot of people! But that's only because most people hate me... and I guess why I'm so excited is because Vince seemed like he actually liked me. Anyway, I got what I needed and then started to leave. Once I got to school...I saw Katie, Vince, and a couple more people talking in the back. As I walked in, Katie was motioning for me to come, so I did. "Aubrey, these are some of my friends.. This is Lily, Nick, and Vince!" Katie said, "And guys, this is Aubrey!"  "Hey Aubrey," Nick and Lily said. "Hi," I responded. I noticed Vince smiling at me, so I decided to smile back. "Do yall know eachother?" Katie asked while looking at me and Vince. "Kinda, we talked alittle bit after school yesterday," Vince said. "Oh, cool!" Katie said. The bell rang, so everyone sat down as Mr. Johnson came in. After a few classes, it was now time for lunch. As me and Katie were waiting in the lunch line.. we noticed Vince walking towards us. "Hey, u should sit with us!" Vince said while smiling at me. "She's going to,"  Katie said with a smile. "Okay good," Vince said then walked back to the table. "He so likes you!" Katie said to me. "No he doesnt..." I responded. "Yes he does! did u see the way he looked at you! I know Vince.. and he doesn't just look at anyone like that," Katie said. I didn't say anything, I just smiled slightly at the thought of a guy actually liking me. After that, me and Katie went to join everyone at the table. During like the whole lunch period, I wasn't really paying attention to them.. I was was so focused on Vince.. His shaggy brown hair and his bright blue eyes.. He just looked so perfect. I can't even describe how I felt then, in fact, whenever I was around him. Maybe I do like him...you know, just alittle bit.

     As we me and Katie were walking to our next class, I saw Vince walking toward us. "Hey Aubrey, you're coming to the party tonight, right?" he asked. I was confused on to what party he was talking about..so I shyly asked, "What party?"   "Oh, Katie didn't tell you?" he asked. "Uh no.." I responded. "Oh, yah..I forgot to tell you.. instead of just hanging out at my house, we're gonna go to a party with Vince and his friends tonight, is that okay?" Katie said. "Oh, yah..that's fine.." I said. "Great! see ya then!" Vince said with a smile. Right as he started walking the other way, I quickly turned to Katie and said, "Are u kidding! a party!?" I said in a panicked voice. "Yah, it'll be fun!" she said excitedly. "Well I don't wanna go.. so u can go if u want, but I'm not going," I said. "Noo, u have to! pleasee, if u don't go, then I won't go..and I really wanna go, Vince and his friends will be there! Plus this guy that I kinda like will be there.. " she said. "Ugh fine," I said stubbornly. "Yay!" she said. "Yah, well we better get to class before we're late.." I said.

After School

     "Hey, we better go so we can get ready!" Katie said happily. "Okay, let's go then," I said as I started to walk off. Once we got to her house, we went straight upstairs to her room. I just awkwardly sat on her bed as she was digging in her closet to find something for us to wear. "She finally came out, holding up a bright red, very revealing dress... and a black, short and tight dress. "Woah..." I said, "I am not wearing one of those." "Yes you are! Now which one?" Katie asked. "Fine, I guess I can try on the black one," I said. "Great!" she said while handing me the dress. I then slowly walked to her bathroom to put it on. "Oh my god no.." I said quietly as I looked in the mirror. "Let me see!" Katie yelled. "Okay.." I said as I opened the door. "Oh my god you look hot!" she said. "No I don't! I can not wear this!" I responded. "Yes u can? and you will! You look amazing. And I know Vincent will like it," Katie said. It was silent for a few seconds, until I said "You really think he will?" "Yes, I know he will! Come on, wear it for him," Katie said with a smile. "Okay," I said quietly. Soon after I said that, I saw a big smile come acrossed her face, and she said "Good! Now sit down so I can do your hair." "You have to get ready to ya know!" I said with a laugh. "Yah I will, in fact, I'll go change right now," she said as she walked towards the bathroom. I sat there in silence while Katie was in the bathroom, until the door burst open, and in came a little girl. The girl then stopped at the sight of me, and said "Who are you," with a confused look on her face. "I'm Aubrey, Katies friend," I said shyly. "Lily, why are you in here!" Katie practically yelled as she came out of her bathroom. "I just wanted to say hi....where are u going?" the girl asked. "Me and Aubrey are going to a party tonight," she said. "What party," she asked. "It's just a party, okay?" Katie responded. "Okay.." the little girl said as she left. "Sorry, that was my sister, Lily," Katie told me. "Oh, that's fine," I said.

"Anyway, let's finish getting ready!" She said, "tonight is gonna be amazing!"
