The Party

"We look hot!" Katie said with a smile. "I hate to admit it...but we do," I said. Katie just laughed. "Well, ya ready to go?" Katie asked. "Yep! Let's go," I said as I headed down the stairs. "Hey, girls!" I heard as I turned my head to see a tall, beautiful lady standing in the kitchen which I assumed was Katie's mother. "Yes mom?" Katie said nervously. "Make sure to get them boys!" she said as she winked. Katie sighed with relief then said, "Okay mom, will do!"  "That was your mom?! My mom would never say that!" I said quickly with a slight laugh. "Yep, that's my mom... crazy as ever!" Katie said. "Well she's awesome, my mom would never and I mean NEVER let me out of the house like this," I said. "Yep, I guess I have a pretty cool mom," Katie smiled. "Yah u do," I laughed. As we were turning a corner, I turned to Katie saying, "Oh my god, that's his house?!" I asked as I looked at the huge house blasting music. "Yep, that's his house," Katie responded. "It's huge!" I said. "It really is" Katie laughed. "Well, you ready for your first party?" "Yah I guess!" I said. I couldn't really describe how I felt while walking toward his house...I was so nervous. And there Katie was just going right in and looking fine! But anyway, I slowly walked in and looked around to see if I could see anyone I knew, which I didn't. "Aubrey!" I heard a voice yell from behind me. And not just any voice, it was a sexy voice in which I knew was Vince. I turned around to see him walking towards me. "Wow...you look great," he said. I couldn't help but smile... "Thanks, you too," I said. He just smiled and it was awkward silence for a bit.. "Hey, you want a drink?" He asked while heading to the kitchen. "Um sure," I said as he handed it to me. "So...great party, your house is amazing," I said. "Thanks, I'm glad you came," he responded. "Yah, me too," I smiled. "You wanna go upstairs?" Vince, asked. "Sure," I said. We then walked upstairs and he led me out on a balcony looking over the huge pool in the backyard. "So...tell me about yourself," he said curiously. "Um well...there's really not much to tell! What do u wanna know?" I asked. "Anything" He said with a smirk, (which was so hot just by the way) "Well..like what?" I asked nervously. "Oh I don't know... your family, stuff like that?" He said. "Okay, well.. I have an 10 year old brother, Max.. and my older sister, Rachel, who's married...and roxy, Max's dog... and then theres my mom," I said. "What about your dad?" Vince asked. "Oh.. well he's my step dad, and he doesn't like me and I don't like him..so yah," I said. "How could he not like you? You're great," He said, emphasizing the not. "I don't know..we've just never gotten along that good.. " I said, "now enough about me.. tell me about yourself!" "Okay..well, I have 2 brothers, Ryan who's 19, and Brandon who's 13.. and then my mom, and my dad left us when I was young," he said. "Oh, really.. mine did too, right after I was born," I said. "Hey, looks like we have something in common," he said with a smile. "Yah, looks like we do,"I smiled back. It was silent for a bit, as he just smiled at me, and of course..I couldn't help but smile back. As he leaned in, I could tell he was about to kiss me.. and he did. Our lips touched gently and I can't even describe what it felt like. I panicked and pulled away quickly... "Oh sorry... " Vince said nervously. He looked so embarrassed...I kind of felt bad, but I didn't know what else to do, I wasn't expecting him to do that. "It's fine... um I'm gonna go back in there and find Katie.." I said awkwardly. "Oh, yah sure.." he responded. I couldn't believe what just happened. Why did I pull away! I'm so stupid, you know you wanted to kiss him, what's wrong with me! I just went back downstairs to where most people were and looked for Katie. "Heyy! Aubrey, whatcha think? It's fun, right?" Katie asked as she walked towards me. "Oh, uh yah, fun," I said. I supposed I looked shocked from what just happened because she asked, "Are u okay?" "Yah, I'm..fine.." I said. "No your not.. what happened?" She asked as she pulled me aside into a room. "Well..I was with Vince upstairs..and..he.. kissed me," I said. "He kissed you?! Oh my god Aubrey, he kissed you! How was it?" Katie said dramatically. "I don't know! And I probably never will considering I pulled away and stopped him!" I practically almost yelled. "Woah.. u did?" Katie asked. "Yes I did, I'm so stupid... why did I do that!" I said. "You probably just weren't expecting it, it's okay," Katie said. "No its not, what if he never talks to me again? Then what??" I said quickly. "That isn't going to happen! Stop worrying about it..it'll be okay! I know Vince... and if he really likes you, which he does, then he won't let that stop him," Katie said. "Okay.. thanks.. so u really thinks he likes me?" I said. She just laughed and said,"Oh yah! he tried to kiss you, didn't he?" "Well yah," I laughed. "Then yes, look, I know he does... now let's get back to the party" she said as she walked out.

"Hey," I heard someone say as they pulled me aside, "can we talk?" they said nervously. And sure enough, it was Vince. "Uh sure," I said. "Okay, look, I'm sorry... I shouldn't have done it," he started. "No, it's fine..I'm sorry, I dont know why I did that," I interrupted. "So u wanted to kiss me? U were just too nervous," he said with a smirk. "Um, yah I guess," I blushed. "Well don't be," he said as he kissed me. He pulled away and said, "That better?" "Yah," I whispered and leaned back in.
