I was enraged at how Trevor answered me so Instead of causing any drama I quickly left school leaving Ava behind, I got home and threw myself on the bed as I thought about the events of the day, just then I remembered I was supposed to call mum back, I got my phone from my bag and dialed her line, it rang a bit before she finally picked.
Me: Mummy
Her: My baby its good you called, how is the programme for the wedding coming along?
Me: I am still busy with school so I haven’t yet started working on anything.
Her: I hope you know what you are doing because last minute planning can be hectic.
Me: I still have time mummy, I need to first concentrate on school then the rest will follow.
Her: Ok if you say so, anyhow I will be coming there next month with your sister
Me: Ok let me know when exactly and pass my regards to everyone there
Her: ok and please don’t stress that young man,
Me: Fine mummy
After the call with mum, i took a nap and was woken up by an angry Ava
“Really girl, you had to leave me in school?” Ava shouted
“I am sorry, I couldn’t help it that guy was getting on my last nerves” i responded
“What’s with you and that guy” she asked
“I was trying to be friendly but he just can’t be polite he hates me as much as I hate him” I said
“As your cousin, I must say you need to swallow your pride Sophia and come to terms with working with Trevor or else you will fail that course and we both know you wouldn’t want that” she said
“Fine I will see what I can do” I replied
“Anyway let me get changed so we can start preparing supper” Ava said as she walked to her room
After supper we started studying and later called it a night, I went to my room but I couldn’t sleep, I kept thinking about how I was going to work with Trevor for the next coming months.
Have you ever hated someone just by setting your eyes on them, literally hating everything about that person the way they talked, how they dressed, how they behaved that’s how it was with me and Trevor. Since first year he irritated the hell out of me everyone in class knew just how much we argued over simple things until it got to a point where we completely stopped talking. We had no connection whatsoever the only thing we had in common was sharing a class and studying the same course. Sometimes I wondered how a person with such an attitude would ever want to be Public Relations personnel, I hated Trevor so much, I wish there was a way I could swap partners.
I kept thinking about the issue with Trevor till I dozed off, when I opened my eyes it was morning I  took a shower and dressed up, by the time it was 7:00 both Ava and I  were ready to go to school. I drove us to school as we discussed the assignment.
“I envy you, you know? Working with your boyfriend on such an assignment will be adventurous” I said
“Am I not lucky?” she answered
“Yes you are,” I said
“You see the advantages of dating a classmate” she said while laughing
I see oh, I should get myself one right now I am even thinking of dropping Research so I can rewrite it next year “I said
Ava gave me such a bad stare, “You are willing to drop a subject so you don’t graduate for the sake of this guy no ways I know you are better than this Sophia” she scolded
“But how will this work? That guy is a retard” I said
“Sophia, you won’t drop that subject, it won’t kill for you and Trevor to act friendly just for a few months then afterwards you can hate each other all you want” she said
We got to school and class was boring for that day, I tried making conversations with Trevor but he was still giving me an attitude, I was so disturbed I didn’t know how else to get to him.
