Four minutes away from the junior sorority house . My heart beats faster than a freshman's heart on their first day of college .

I park my SUV in one of the four driveways while my mom parks in the second one . I place my hands on the steering wheel and lay my head on my hands .

*knock knock*
The sound of my mom knocking on my car window wakes me out of my deep thought .

"Asia, If you're gonna stay in your car for these next two semesters, hand me the house keys cause' you won't need them."

Whenever my mom is being sarcastic , it's sometimes funny but some of the things she says are more direct and mean sounding than normal .

As my mom bends down to grab my box , I grab my keys and open the car door . We meet at the front door so I can unlock it .

When the door unlocks my heart drops , I suffer from really bad anxiety . I've never been in all girl sorority before so this is an new experience for me .

I open the door and my jaw drops. I've barely walked five steps into the house and it's so nice just for three girls .

" Move so I can put down this heavy ass box. " My mom firmly says . She turns out the door to get the rest of my boxes out her car as I follow her to do the same out of mine .

-After getting all the boxes to the front door-

" Alright mamas , my work here is done . Remember what I told you your first day of freshman year , Don't do- "

" Drug , have unprotected sex , and keep my grades up . Yes mom , I got it "

My mom gives me a giant grin and gives me a hug .

" Just one more school year and you'll be an adult adult " she says muffled into my armpit .

We make eye contact and she walks out the front door as I follow her to the front of her car .

" Love you Asia and be good , please be sure to call me every time you get a chance , okay ? "

I nod and smile as I watch her get into her car . As her car windows were rolled down I yell , " Be safe on your way back "

She smiles and backs out of the driveway , I wave at her as she drives away . My mom lives in Colorado and drove 11 hours with me to Texas to help me get settled in .

I walk back into the house to look around . The first floor has a huge kitchen and dining area , a living room with a fire place , 2 and a half bathrooms , and two bedrooms .

The second floor had 1 bedroom , 2 hall closets , and , 1 bathroom . Something about the second floor was off though , there was a double door that was locked . I didn't think much of it , so I left it alone

In the basement there was a huge empty area with hard-wood floors and mirrors on one side of the walls , it was like a dance studio , in the back there was a laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers . Back into the open area , I assumed this is were KD {Kappa Delta} will be practicing .

I had spent enough time looking around the house , it was time to put all my stuff up in my room . I chose a bedroom on the first floor because , I really didn't feel like carrying all my boxes up the stairs .

I laid on my bed while on my phone waiting for the two others to come .

"Maybe I should've came tomorrow instead of today" I thought to myself out loud , I didn't think the rest of the girls were coming .

Monday is the first day of classes but everyone was open to start moving into there sorority/fraternity houses or dorms last Friday .

Today is Saturday and it's now 4:23 pm .

10 minutes later I hear the front door open .

" Hellooo is anybody here ? " coming from a high-pitched voice . I run to the front door with my socks on sliding on the hard-wood floor the same as downstairs .

The girl and I make eye-contact .

" Hiiiiii " she drops her duffel bag and runs up to me to give me a grand hug . She lets me go and puts out her hand .

" I'm sorry I'm a hugger but my name is Shay , what's your name ? " I put out my hand to meet hers and I shake it .

" I'm Asia , nice to meet you . " We both smile for a silent second then , I glance over to all her stuff .

" Let me help you " I volunteer myself , I grab one of her duffel bags and suitcase and she grabs the rest of her stuff .

Shay turns to me , " Where's your room ? I want one next to yours . " I walk Shay to the room next to mine and set her stuff down on the bed in the room .

"Thank you, Asia? Right?" I nod reassuring my name to Shay .

Shay proceeded to ask , " Are you going to the KD & AT {Alpha Theta) frat party ? I heard they throw one every semester. "

" No , I wasn't invited . " I say to Shay . " Girl , you're apart of KD , members don't need invites . Are you new here ? " Shay asked

I nod at her as she smirks , " Well , you'll have fun with me because I'm new too . I honestly think everyone in this house is a new KD member . "

" The party starts at 9 , I wonder if the other girl will be on time . " I shrug my shoulders .

" I know you just got here but , do you know anything about the locked door upstairs ? I ask Shay .

" Yes ! That's the coach's room , which mean our house only has three girls while the other houses has four girls . I think the coach's name is Amber " Shay says excitingly .

" Living in a house with couch ? That means she'll be more pushy towards us . " I thought to myself .

" We can't stand here and both look dumb , I'm gonna finish unpacking and then while get ready together "

I nod and tell Shay okay while exiting her room into mine .
