Disclaimer: this is not a spoiler chapter for episode 3 but it is for episode 2 so you will have to watch that to understand this. The only thing I've used for this chapter that actually happens in episode 3 is the spoilers that Disney has already put out...okay let's begin;

After school we had met up at our usual hang out, the spoon.
Buffy had went to the bathroom leaving Andi and I sitting in silence.
"How long do you think she will be?" She asked kinda panicky.
I shrugged. "I don't know, you're a girl you should know."
She nodded slowly and took a deep breath. "I think I have time.." she then pulled out a piece of paper that resembled the 'wish paper' from yesterday. "Yesterday...one of the lanterns got stuck in the tree and the paper fell out—I read it to see if it was mine—it wasn't." She handed me the paper. I read it, gulping.
"How am I going to tell Buffy?"
My fear turned into confusion. "Buffy? Why does she need to know?"
"Because she wrote it."
"Is that what you're hoping?" I raised an eyebrow suspiciously.
"If I don't tell her I have to tell Walker!"
"Buffy said herself she doesn't like him, they're just friends now."
She snatched the paper back from me. "Maybe she changed her mind. Come on, Cyrus! Who else would have wrote this?"

Suddenly my mind went back to last Night...

Bex had come over to us with a bowl of 'wishing paper' to put in our lanterns.
I tried to grab a handful having so much to wish for but Bex warned me to only take one, wishing I had brought my own.

As I wrote my wish I had found myself hiding my paper from Buffy and Andi realizing what wish I should put down.

We then went to the park and put them inside our lanterns. Ironically this was the place TJ and I really met.

I had lost track of my lantern when Buffy had tapped me prompting me to look away and focus on hers.

I then over heard CeCe's story to Jonah;
"We're sending our wishes to the goddess, drinking a lixar of immortality and now lives forever in the moon."
(I couldn't find caption for what she really said)

I didn't know what that meant truthfully but I hoped that they were safe maybe even read and this goddess would take pity on me and grant my wish.
However, it's clear it never got to her...I guess the universe had other plans and it got to Andi instead, reading the wish herself;

I wish TJ liked me back.

As always what I wanted seemed to be left behind.

I snapped back to her question. "You're right, she had to have written that." I couldn't come clean yet..
"Walker deserves to know, she's clearly just settling for him because TJ is dating Amber."
"They're not dating." I told her sternly but it was more like I was trying to convince myself.
"Well they're obviously going to, Walker has to know that she doesn't like him as much as-"
"You?"
She rolled her eyes. "As much as he likes her." She finished.
"Well he should know from her. It is not your place to be meddling especially for the wrong reasons—you should know that, you didn't even want to tell Jonah that Amber was with another guy and you hated her—why are you so quick to do this to your best friend?"

She opened her mouth to speak but then shut it again, at a loss of words.

Buffy then came back from the bathroom.
I tried to grab the paper from Andi but she pulled back, still conflicted.

It ripped apart and she quickly shoved it in her pocket.

My part said "I wish TJ-" Which meant her paper said "—liked me back" and sadly that was enough to prove that "Buffy" liked someone else...
