-Reader's Pov-
You walk into class with all your books, which by the way weigh a ton. Taking your sear you lay you head down on the desk and look out the window. It's sunny and beautiful and all your want to do is sit out  there and do nothing but read. Your eyes close as the sun warms your face and a few hair strands fall into your face. It takes a few minutes before more students start to pile into the room. Then it all foes relatively quiet as whispering ensues. A tap on your shoulder makes you open your eyes as you look at the man standing in front of you.

He's tall, has long hair that curls slightly at the ends and falls to his shoulders, an eye patch over one eye, a scar on the corner of his chin reaching towards his mouth, and his one eyes is steely gray. He's holding a book in one hand and the other is on your desk. He must have used the book to your shoulder. You sit up and rub the sleep from your eyes as the sun made you slightly tired.

"Do I know you from somewhere?" the words leave your lips before your mind can catch up with them. Of course you know this man, he may be a few years older than you but your memory seems to have slightly forgotten his face. Your eyes light up as recognition comes into play.

"Toga!" you jump from the desk and throw your arms around his neck, lacing your fingers around the back of his head. "I've missed you! What are you doing here?" your cheerful voice cuts through the empty sound of the classroom. You let go as you remember that you two aren't alone. A blush rises up to your cheeks as you sheepishly look around the classroom. Students are whispering to each other, mostly the girls, but a few guys give Toga an icy glare. A chuckle turns you back to him though and the smile returns to your face.

"it's nice to see you too____. I happen to be your new teacher and I wanted to make sure my students were awake for my lecture." You nod again enthusiastically before realizing that he's talking about you, You sit down almost instantly and he chuckles again before walking to the front of the classroom.

The rest of the class goes on and you zone out for most of it. Toga may be the teacher but that doesn't make it anymore exciting. In fact it makes you a little mad that Toga keeps you in the class even though he knows that everyone, especially you, would rather be outside.

The bell rings and you rush to get your stuff. This happens to be your last class so you have about an hour before you have to return to your dorm so that the night class can get some work done too. A tap on your shoulder once again makes you halt as you begin to leave the room. Everyone is gone this time which is a bit more relieving to you.

"So even though you haven't seen me in forever that fact that I'm a teacher draws you away from me?" Toga gives a slight smile and you smile back before moving to sit on a desk. Your legs swing back and forth in a thoughtless manor.

"No, it's just a beautiful day and I only have an hour before the night class and we're told to go to our dorms/" He nods and starts towards the door, in which you quickly follow.

"Why don't we both go outside then and we can catch up." you nod and hum a random song as he leads you through the grounds he must have memorized before coming here. He stops at an old cherry blossom tree and you sit underneath it. The petals that were clown off by the wind sit on the ground with you as if for company. Toga rests next to you and you lean against his shoulder.

"It's been a long time __." you nod and lace your fingers through his.

"How have your parents been?" the way you two first met was your parents had been killed by a vampire and his family had taken you in. But they had been in bad health when you left.

"They died a while back, on the same day an hour apart from each other." Tears spring to your eyes and Toga wraps his arm around you, pulling you into his chest. You cry harder as his sent brings back memories of your foster family. "I'm sorry __." you shake your head and wipe a few tears from your eyes. Toga puts a hand on your shoulder and holds you a little bit away from him, a determined look in his eyes.

"The reason I really came here though was because I need you ___. I loved you when you were with us but never really had the guts to tell you anything. I regret that and ask you to forgive me now." shock takes over whatever grief you had on your mind and you go limp in his grasp. He pulls you back into him and kisses the top of your head. After a few minutes of silence you clear your throat.

"Yagari I love you too. But how dare you tell me that right after you tell me your parents died!" you almost scold him in a way but start to cry before the tone can really make its way out. He rubs your back and whispers in your ear. When you stop crying he sighs a little.

"So I'm guessing you won;t go out with me?" he sounds like a little boy deprived of candy. You laugh and sniffle, whipping away more tears.

"No I will, but next time find the right order to say things in." he nods and you kiss his lips lightly before leaning back against him as you look out at the school grounds beyond the haze of the tree you sit under. "This is going to be weird."

"What is?"

"I'm dating my teacher."

"Speaking of which you need to get back to your dorm." you sigh and stand, Toga doing the same. You kiss him lightly and he smiles, a full smile.

"See you in class, Miss ___"
