White Wings
I was pushed down
And I fell to the ground
Everyone stopped and stared
Oh, I was so scared
I had made mistakes before
But none made me this sore
I cried out in pain
It felt like going insane
You came to me
So I can be free
You held me up to see
All that I could be
And to get a better view
I leaned into you
And together, we flew
With your white wings spread wide
I wanted to let go
It’s my life I wanted to throw
You came to me and said,
“I never want to see you dead”
I took your hand and we ran
Away from everything
And towards the only thing
That could make our dream come true
I agreed to your offer
To never let me suffer
You held me up to see
All that I could be
And to get a better view
I leaned into you
And together, we flew
With your white wings spread wide
You held me in your arms
And never allowed me to be harmed
So I leaned into you
And together, we flew
With your white wings spread wide

A Siren's Songs (A Collection of Original Lyrics)
PoetryI believe music is like a diary. So much of our experiences are written in the lyrics whether through symbols or not. This collection is meant not to capture the hearts of many but as a way for people to feel like they are not alone.
