All the guests had arrived. The talent show was about to begin! "Is it quick?" you asked Mia. " my performance is second. "And mine is first! Don't worry, it'll only take a second."
You follow her downstairs. She brings you to your bedroom door, and on it is a envelope. "Ok I showed you! Sorry, I have to go. It's time for my performance!" Mia quickly ran away.
You grabbed the small envelope and ran upstairs right behind her. Mia was a fantastic singer, and you didn't want to miss her performance.
*end of Mia's performance*
"Wow, that was incredible!" You say to her. "Thanks ! " she replied. "Time for your performance. Break a leg!" " Hey, you just cursed me! I'm not acting right now! " "And now it's time for y.n.'s performance on the piano!" Your dad said, who was running the mics. You played your song, and everyone loved it. You took a bow, then went off to go see what was in the envelope. You heard a booming noise right before you opened it.
"Meet me where time seems to stop"
You went down to your bedroom, because when you are sleeping, you can't keep track of time.
No one was there. There was the booming noise again.
However there was another envelope.
"Q. Why did the hero make sure there was a place to do his business in his secret laboratory?
A. Because it was his duty!
Such a dumb joke, you thought to yourself. You went to the bathroom but the door was closed. You knocked.
"Who is it?"
" Y.n. "
"Come in!"
The door clicks and you open the door. The booming noise. Inside is Cambria. Hello, I'm supposed to give you your next clue.
She starts doing jumping jacks.
"How is this a clue?! " you ask.
"Sorry, but this is the only hint I can give you." She replies. You're trying to think, but the booming noise keeps interrupting your thoughts. Wait, that's it!
Every Friday night the nearby minor league baseball team puts on fireworks. Jumping jacks were representing the fireworks, and the booming noise you kept hearing was the fireworks!
"Thanks, Cam!" You said. " Anytime! "
You ran off.
As you got upstairs, y.c. was performing. Luckily, his performance just started so you were able to watch it. When it ended, you walked out to the balcony. It was old, but sturdy. You rested your head on your hand as you gazed out into the night sky, watching the beautiful dazzling lights glimmer above you.
