Clementines POV:
-
My feet begin walking, and I let them take me, knowing that it's pointless to resist it. They take me down a long corridor, one that reminds me of a hospital corridor, white and spotless. Eventually they stop outside a light oak door and my hand forces it's way to the handle and turns it. The door opens to reveal a spacious white room with a small single bed in one corner and a wardrobe and a desk on the other side. At the back of the room is a big window looking out to sea apparently. If they had sea in the afterlife that is. There is a small envelope on the desk addressed to me. My name on it is written in very neat italics, and the envelope itself is brown. Nothing special. I open it and begin to read.

Clementine,
I assume you have already figure out you are dead and you seemed to be paying attention in the meeting so this will be quite brief. You already know about initiation, and gifts, I presume. If not, listen next time. Now, you will know that your room is pretty bland at the moment, so on the inside of the cupboard you have a dial which lets you customize your room. The picture on the window can also be changed, and this is done by hooking your head up to the wires on the wall and simply picturing the scene you want to see, this can be a family photo, a video of a specific time in your life, or simply a picture of scenery. I hope this proves to be beneficial to you, as it has been for me. Sleep well, training will begin early tomorrow.

The letter was very formal, much like he had been today at the meeting. Honestly, don't the gods ever have any downtime? I put the letter back in my desk and begin to rifle through my wardrobe and see that my entire collection of clothes have been transported from my real life wardrobe into this one. I pull out my favorite black jeans and a green shirt, ready for tomorrow. Before I can do anything else, I fall into bed and go straight to sleep.
My dreams have no substance. Just faint flames licking the side of a black room, with me sitting in the middle, but they aren't coming towards mule, just staying on the walls. I look around, seemingly unfazed by the flames, but inside my head I am screaming at myself to move and run. Its like I'm being controlled. The dream changes and now I am in a empty field, surrounded by wheat leaves. The wind is blowing and my feet are rooted to the ground, unable to move. Out of the distance comes a tall stranger, slowly walking toward me. I struggle to move, but my feet are still locked to the soil. I scream, and all goes black.
i wake up in a cold sweat, my breath heaving. The sheets are sticking to me and i am shaking uncontrollably. I stand up and walk over to the mirror. My hair is in knots and my face is streaked with tear stains. I had obviously been crying in my sleep. I put on the clothes i had laid out for myself last night and some faded red converse.
I walk out the door and being to explore, the hallways keep going around corners and i follow it, not going into any rooms, and eventually I see someone walking my way. The unknown person raises a hand in greeting and speed up. It is a boy, a bit older than myself, and i have never seen him before. He is tall and has black hair, falling over his eyes a little. "Hi..." I say and nod. "Hey. I'm Blaire. What's your name?" He asks, and hold out his hand. "I'm Clementine." I say and shake it.
