9[Finale]

Jungkook comes home that night to see Jimin standing next to a packed suitcase near the bed

“What is all this?” Jungkook asks his omega, tired from fighting with his parents all evening

“Jungkook ah.. you should stop all this now. Not much people know about our marriage. We aren't even mated. You still have a chance for a wonderful life with a pure omega who you can be proud of. Don't ruin your life because of me” Jimin says looking at the alpha he desperately wants to call his own

“What?”

“Jungkook… thank you for everything” Jimin says picking up his luggage and walking to the door

It takes Jungkook a minute to realize what's happening and when he does he is filled with rage and disappointment. He immediately pulls Jimin back by grabbing the omega’s wrist “I won't let you leave me again”

“Again?” Jimin looks at Jungkook confused

“Jimin. .I have loved you for half of my existence” Jungkook says desperately “ I regret to this day not asking you out properly and letting you go. Now that I have gotten you back, I am not going to let you go again”

“Jungkook…” Jimin shakes his head not wanting to believe and get his heart broken

“I love you Jimin. Please don't leave me” Jungkook holds the omega’s arms

“Jungkook… it's better to find someone else.. and make your life less complicated” Jimin removes Jungkook's hold on his arm “I will only bring you shame”

“Who cares? I don't care about other people. All I care about is you!” Jungkook yells

“Jungkook…I made my decision” Jimin says firmly

“So what now huh? A second divorce?  You think you will find someone else?  Anyone else will only use you for your body and then throw you out. You are lucky I didn't. ...” Jungkook stops himself when he realizes what he just said

Jimin looks at him with teary eyes “I know Jungkook…” Jimin backs away when Jungkook takes a step forward “... I know. ..”

“Jimin I didn't mean it..” Jungkook curses himself

“Thank you for everything Jungkook” Jimin walks towards the door

“No! I won't let you leave me” Jungkook growls shaking Jimin by his shoulders “Why don't you get it? I love you. I need you.  I want you…”

“Jungkook. ..” Jimin's eyes go wide

Jungkook pushes Jimin onto the bed “I am going to make you mine officially if you can't accept the truth”

“Jungkook no…”

Jungkook roughly rips open Jimin’s shirt, caging the omega’s naked torso with his own, Jimin crying as he tries to escape

“Why. .why won't you believe me…” Jungkook's voice cracks, his lips brushing against Jimin’s as he speaks “I love you so much… please… please don't leave… it's taken me all this time to finally get you… please…” Jungkook sobs into the crook of Jimin's neck as tears roll down Jimin's cheek - is it finally time to accept that he deserves to be happy too? That he isn't a burden? That he can be an useful omega and make his alpha happy?

“I love you too Jungkook ah..”
Jimin whispers making Jungkook look into his eyes in shock “What?”

“I love you.. I have always loved you… I was afraid I would ruin our friendship” Jimin sniffles “... .when yoongi came into my life and he seemed okay..I was happy I could finally move on from you…” Jimin looks at the alpha with a sad smile “.. then when you said you would marry me I thought you were just protecting your friend … I was heartbroken because I thought you would never love me back the same… and then people…” Jimin sobs “...They said you were better off without me.. that I was bringing you down and I couldn't take it anymore Jungkook ah.. you have no idea how much this hurts me… no idea ..” Jimin gasps for air “.... I feel useless and…”

Jimin’s words were cut off by the alpha smoothly covering the omega’s lips with his own, Jimin whimpering at the roughness of the kiss

Jungkook pulls away from the kiss when he feels Jimin gasping for air, the vulnerable look on Jimin's face making him smile “I love you. I didn't marry you to protect you.. I married you for my own selfish reasons… that is to be your one and only alpha and to make you my one and only omega…” Jungkook smiles seeing a blush creep up on Jimin’s face “..I love you..”

“I love you too” Jimin says before titling his neck to the side closest to Jungkook's lips “..make me yours”
