Come on up for your first fight!", an arrogant man stood at the door of the cage pointing a stubby finger at me, for a long second I stayed silent, trying to process what to do next, "Hey you! You little shit! Get on up!", ugh, this man, who's he calling little? I'm taller than him, when I come to my senses, albeit just enough to stand up and walk towards him, "Good! You have that look in your eyes, but you better put that glare to use in ring and not on me, get it?", with a slight hint of annoyance in his voice, he asked, "What's your name? So at least we know what to put on your gravestone, heheheh", what the hell? This situation is too intense for a beginner stage! What were the developers going through when they made this thing?? They did say that the game randomly gives beginners storyline events, that are generated by a next gen AI, but this is too much!

When he opened it I could hear the clamor of a large crowd, so it's an underground fighting ring, how lucky... FUCK LUCK!! What's this situation!!! First I die for no apparent reason, and now I discover that I'm a slave to an underground fight club, I'm going to get out of here, I swear on my life, I'm going to get out of here, I have to get out of here... this can't be the whole game... caught up in my own thoughts, I didn't release that he had shoved me into the ring and shut the door behind me, just then the announcer called out, "Alright folks! I saw that look on your face just now, hmph, I'll go easy on you, just try to entertain me at least", the bastard clearly was confident in his abilities, I became wary, I tried to replicate the fighting stance that I saw in a fighting manga and walked towards him cautiously, the crowd blew up into another round of cheers, I could tell that the odds were heavily stacked up against me, but I mustered up some courage and tried to throw a punch at his chest, which he blocked with his forearm, "Heh, that tickled, surely you can do better", and then he punched me in my gut, knocking my breath away, I fell onto my knees gasping for air, "Get up kid, I want to have some fun, you're not making it entertaining! C'mon, on your feet!", shakily, I stood up again, and threw a punch, only this time it was a feint and I kicked out towards his right knee when he moved to block the punch, it was a solid hit and he stumbled a little, "Thats the spirit, now I can enjoy this...", this time he rushed me, throwing heavy punches in quick succession, I managed to avoid the first few when he suddenly kicked me in the chest -snap- I could feel some of my ribs crack from the force of the hit. No... I can't die here, this can't be it. I refuse to die here.... a notification popped up in front of me:

Again, I got into a fighting stance and advanced, this time he threw a punch at my ribs again, but I reacted quickly and dodged it, he didn't waste time and swung another heavy kick at me, this time I caught his leg by the ankle and threw my hardest punch at his knee, -snap- his leg bent at an unnatural angle and he yelled in surprise and pain, I didn't spare him a second and kicked his other leg out from under him, knocking him to the ground, I mounted him and threw some more punches, he raised his arms in defense, only to have the bones in them shattered from my punches, blinded by the sudden shift in strength I went for a killing blow, and caved his head in with a wild punch, instantly killing him.
"That's... I can't believe what I just saw!! The Novice has killed the main fighter!! Unbelievable!!", I looked up at the crowd and they cheered again, even louder than the last few times, the strength started to drain and all the injuries I sustained flared up and I fainted from the exhaustion and pain...
