Leonie's POV:
As I saw Tom start to stir, I sat up and headed into the kitchen, grabbing food from the fridge and heating it up. As I got the coffee ready, Tom came over and gave me a kiss on the cheek before saying, "How is my beautiful fiancée doing?" I smiled at the use of the word and said, "Perfect. And how is my fiancé doing?" He smiled back and replied, "Perfect now that I'm engaged to you." I laughed and he sat down at the table as I brought the coffee and plates. As we sat and ate in silence Tom asked, "Are you going to tell Dylan today?" I nodded and stood up saying, "I actually have to get ready because we agreed to go shopping." He nodded and I gave him a quick peck on the cheek before going into the bedroom and getting dressed. I grabbed my keys and headed to Dylan's. I walked up and knocked on the door. Dylan answered with a smile saying, "And here I was. Thinking you forgot about me." I laughed and said, "I have some news." He grabbed my hand and pulled me into the house before saying, "Are you pregnant? You know I'm too young to become an uncle. Oh, no you don't have cancer, do you?" I shook my head at both questions. "I am not pregnant nor dying. I'm engaged!" I showed him the ring and he gasped before pulling me into a huge hug. "I am so excited for you and Tom." I laughed at his reaction and said, "How about we go shopping then. I have a story to tell you." As we walked to the car I explained how Iris had recorded it and how she was going to post it so everyone could see after I told Dylan of course. Then I went into an explanation of my dream and said, "I have to tell Tom. It's a terrible thing to do but it was 3 years ago. I mean I've moved on and so should Barry, right?" Dylan shrugged and said, "You guys were kinda close. Almost as close as us. You moving away broke his heart. Especially after that letter. He came up to me and continuously asked if I knew about your feelings and why I hadn't told him. Of course, I never answered but Iris was there and started to fix him and mend his broken pieces. I know he should but that doesn't mean he wants to." I nodded and said, "Well he probably knows by now that I'm engaged so at least I won't have to tell him." He nodded and we headed into the mall. After shopping, he said, "How about we go get lunch and then just hang out? I haven't seen you in forever." I laughed and nodded before parking outside of Big Belly Burger and headed inside. We grabbed a booth by the window and ordered. After we got our food we started talking. He sighed and said, "You know that girl that I told you about? The one who keeps throwing herself at Oliver?" I nodded and he continued, "Well she's over there. Her names Kasandra." I looked over and saw a girl about my age, maybe older, leaning over the counter with way too many buttons undone flirting with a guy sitting and eating. The guy pushed her off and said something that made her go red in the face before turning around and I noticed it was Barry. I turned back around quickly, silently praying he didn't see me, but I knew as soon as I felt Dylan wave he was coming over. I sighed before putting my hand under the table. "Hey Dylan, Leonie. What's up?" Dylan just shrugged and said, "Well right now we are getting lunch and then probably going back to my house to watch movies." He nodded and then turned towards me before saying, "Hey are you free tomorrow? I was wondering if you would want to go with me to S.T.A.R. Labs. Caitlyn and Cisco keep asking about you since they haven't seen you." I nodded and said, "I should be free. I don't really know. I have work at 5 but I'm free until then." He nodded and I forgot about the ring and went to grab my drink when I saw Barry physically stiffen and stare at the ring. You could see the flash of anger that went through his eyes before he masked it and said, "Oh you got engaged? Congrats. Uhm, I have to go now. Bye." I looked at him shocked as he practically ran out of the restaurant and away from it before turning back to Dylan. I could see the understanding in his eyes before he said, "I'm sorry. If I had known he would react like that I would have never waved him over." I shrugged. "He would have found out eventually. At least he found out by me. Although, that might have been worse." Dylan nodded. "Are you done? We can go if you want and start watching the movies." I nodded and texted Tom telling him I would be home late and getting a reply before grabbing my bag and heading to my car.
