Leonie's POV:

As we got into the car, Tom started driving to our favorite restaurant. When we got there, he helped me out and we headed to the booth by the window. Sherley, the waitress, came over and said, "Hey Leonie and Tom. Same as usual?" We nodded and she went to the kitchen. After a few minutes, our food and drinks arrived and we started eating. Tom smiled at me and said, "I have news. I was offered a promotion. However, it is in Central City." I looked at him and then started laughing. He looked so confused so I said, "I'm sorry. It's just that, well I got offered a promotion too. It's in Central City and I didn't know if I should take it because I didn't want to leave you here." He smiled and laughed with me before saying, "How about we both take the promotion. That way we could still be together and we can get an apartment together." I smiled and nodded before saying, "I think that would be a great idea." He smiled and we continued on talking and joking together. When we finished I got on my phone and texted my boss saying I accepted the promotion. After a couple minutes, I got a reply saying good and that I had to be in Central City by Monday. I almost dropped my phone before replying, saying it was only a week. I looked at Tom and said, "Hey babe, my boss said I had to be in Central City by Monday." He looked at me surprised and said, "Then we should get back to your house and start packing your stuff." I smiled at him and his offer to help and we held hands heading back to the car.

When we got to my house we started getting all the stuff together in the boxes I still had. I kept them just in case this happened. I started in my room and Tom started in the guest rooms. After an hour or two, I went into the room Tom was in and said, "How about we go to bed and finish it in the morning. My boss is giving me this week off to pack and get all my stuff together." He nodded and we went to my room before laying down and falling asleep.
