School!!!

I'm in the library buried in hundreds of books, barely awake. I fucked up. More specifically in Mr Nelson's class, which seems to be a usual theme. Why did I procrastinate so damn much. He asked for a simple essay on the compound elements found in dark matter. That's an easy A right there but stiff as a log me left my head at home. Time to stop my inner monologuing and get to work I guess.

Chris leans back and continues to read the astronomical amount of books scattered across the table.

Okay, components such as -.

Just before Chris could resume his mumble reading, his eyes snap away.

That boy again.

The one with the cute smile and body. He's here. Don't get nervous, he's not even close. Just continue reading. Oh God just fucking read.
Fuck he's handsome, really handsome. He looks so manly taking books from that shelf. That sounded weird but he does, and man I just can't stop staring.

FUCK. He's coming my way, what do I do?!
Breathe.
Breathe...

"Umm, do you by any chance have Space Odessy.

"Yea, I think so."

I shuffle through all the titles and hard books.

Ah, found it "Space Odyssey".

"Um, here you go. That's it right?"

"Yup, thanks."

His big hands gripped the book lifted for him and like that he's gone.

I exhale all the pent up nervousness once he's outta my sight. I did good, just had a normal conversation with the boy I've been eyeing all month. See Chris, you can be cool. Barely, but at least I got to talk to him. That cute accent, almost caused me to quack. Okay! Focus, back to the books.
Done... Now where is theoretical... what's the name?
Did I even grab that book? Lemme just get up.
Crap! It's 1pm already, shit I need to move before I miss math. I practically jump outta the chair, just trying to be on time. Backpack, got it. Time to move.

"Hey!"

That voice sounds way too familiar.

I turn around, now I'm not facing the exit anymore.

It's -, it's that guy. Jeez, I can't freeze up.

"Um yea." I shiver. Way to fucking go.

He slowly walks up to me, keeping steady eye contact. That kind of scared me. He was kind of intimidating.

"You're new, right? He smirked.

"I guess," I smiled.

"Listen, I'm going to the forest area by Herbert road."
All my friends are too pussy to go, do you wanna come?"

"I - I guess. But you just met me isn't that sorta strange?"

"Not to a boy like me, strange is a lifestyle."

A lifestyle? That made me chuckle a bit.

"What the hell, what time?"

"After school." He said ecstatically.

After school? I mean I had no plans, or friends for that matter and this boy is a serious tease.

"Haha, sure I guess." I chuckled.

"Clayton by the way."

"Chris." I replied.

"Alright, don't let lil old me hold you up, bye."

He sped back before I could even utter a "bye" myself. He seemed... energetic. I liked it, definitely wasn't expecting that.
