It's 3:30, where is this Clayton. Am I suppose to meet him there? I hope not, I barely know one street name here. Perks of being new, sarcasm much. Maybe I should start scanning for him. Several kids were leaving school, which made it hard to spot him.
"Chris!"
Out of nowhere I see this black pickup truck. It stops in midday, screech and all. It's Clayton, and man did he make an entrance. Some kids even stopped just from sound alone. That made me feel a bit nervious, but it seemed Clayton was accustom to it. The stares and attention that is.
"Get in." He gestured.
I had no choice but to kind of jog to him, while everyone else was casually walking. I opened the passenger door and quickly got in, wasn't a fan of being the center of attention. Clayton, I don't know.
I mean he was hot as hell, I've seen his body on display and he's never been shy about anything. I've only been here a month and I know so much about him, which is weird because he knows absolutely nothing about me. Sitting beside him almost felt surreal, overwhelming too. I didn't know what to say and I didn't know if I was staring too long or something."You good boy?"
"Sorry, just spazed out. Sort of normal for me."
"You looked high." He said jokingly.
"Maybe I am."
Why did I say that…"Gasp, I'm a man of god. Sinner!'
We sat there quietly for a few seconds before bursting into laughter.
"Man, your funny." I laughed.
He shot me a cute smirk
"I know, it's a gift."
"A gift? Didn't know Jesus was handing them out." I retorted quickly."
"Welllllll, I guess Jesus isn't a fan of you."
"Oh, really." I say raising an eyebrow at him.
"For sure, I'm just that blessed." He says, eyes nailed to the road."
"So how long?"
"About 5 mins."
I lay back into the seat. We talk some more and then he started playing rap music. It was chill and Clayton was so cool to be around. He had real goofy vibes too, I liked that about him. And I liked this town. I was liking a lot so far, could have something to do with the stranger I just met. This was a smooth ride and for once I don't feel anxious or worried.
"We're here." He sang angelically.
"That was quick, like really quick."
"Time flys when you're high." Clayton proclaimed.
"Alrighty, follow me. Try not to get killed by a lion.""Clayton, this is a forest." I snorted outta laughter.
"You don't know what could be out there, read a book!" He retorted in a higher tone.
His face was all smiley, he looked like a big kid and it was cute as hell.
He took the keys out his car, and proceed to open his door. That was my cue to leave also.
Slamming the door behind me, my nose absorbed all the scents of this forest. It was pretty and Clayton parked his truck deep into the woods. That made it easier for us to see more of the area. It definitely was a forest, planted with tall oak trees and buried in fallen sticks and bushes. Felt majestic in a sense."You just gonna stand there all day?"
'Oh -."
And he's shirtless just great, I can see every inch of that perfectly sculpted torso. Gotta play it cool.
"Uh, sorry. It's just really pretty here."
"I know that's why I come here, but people hardly come here anymore."
"Not even my friends."
"His voice was softer, kind of down."
"Well I dig it." I sheepishly grinned."
"I dig it a lot." I repeat more enthusiastically.
His eyes gleamed as I said it.
