Oh the sweet voice of my dearest friend Juniper. I've never been so glad to hear your voice. I whip my head around to see you with a bag of chips clutched in your hands.

"JUNPIER! HEY GIRL! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? I-" I get cut off by you pulling me down from the table and dragging me off to the bathroom. I make eye contact with you. Of course those girls are drooling over you. You're irresistible. To them.

"Oksana" Junpier sighs "you need to learn how to control your actions. I know that new kid is hot and all but-"

"I do not find him attractive what so ever so calm down."

"Then what's your problem?"

"Well" I start "it all started back in sixth grade"

Middle school! I'm finally here! I've heard people say that it's bad but I think I'm going to have a good three years!
I wonder if I have any classes with any of my friends? I think to myself

Oh! I'm going to be late. I think as I look at my watch.

I run through the halls only to collide with another person. The impact sending us both to the ground

"Oh my god! I am SO sorry I was rushing to my class because I thought I was going to be late and I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and-"

I look up and see my bestfriend from fourth grade.

"Jackson?" I ask

You laugh. I missed your laugh

"Hey Oka!" You smile "long time no see! I can't believe we're in the same school again. I hope we have some classes together"

I'm stunned. I never expected to see you again. I scramble to my feet after gathering my belongings. I say goodbye not knowing what else to do.

I sprint to the bathroom and splash cold water on my face. I look at myself in the mirror

"Get ahold of yourself Oksana" I say to myself

"He's just a boy you've had a crush on since first grade, it's whatever" I sigh

After ten minutes of us hanging around in the bathroom lunch finally ends. Juniper and I leave the bathrooms and head to our classes.
